Magical retreat n the spectaular valley of the waterfalls.

Our comfortable apartment was completed in January 2008. It is south facing with amazing views of the magnificent Breithorn to the South and the stunning Staubbach waterfall to the West with spring lambs skipping in the fields below. The apartment is on the first floor of the building and incorporates 2 good sized bedrooms 1 twin and 1 double. a spacious bathroom with bath and shower. Light and modern kitchen.with granite worktops. Underfloor heating. We live locally and are able to provide personal attention for our guests. The adjoining apartment accommodates 6 persons and if available the 2 properties can be let together. Heated ski and boot storage is also a bonus as a heated area for prams. Nearby bus connections to the Schilthorn cableway and main stations, small local shops which are open also on Sundays. A fantastic central location for summer and winter walking and a variety of sports.

Situated at the front of the new chalets on the Stechelberg Strasse on the sunny side of the Lauterbrunnen valley. Very central for ski bus, cross country skiing ,ice climbing and skating in winter, and 2 local camping sites with shops open 7 days. Perfect starting point for summer walking paths, biking trails tennis courts and mini golf, 30 minutes walk to the famous Trummelbach water falls and a bus ride away (bus stop 100 metres) to the end of the valley where paths lead to the wonderful Trachselauenen, Tschingelhorn and Obersteinberg mountain retreats and restaurants. A mere 15 minutes walk or 5 minute bus journey to Lauterbrunnen and Muerren main stations servicing ;- Wengen, Muerren, Grutschalp, Interlaken and Grindelwald. a 40 minute scenic walk or 10 minute bus ride into the valley leads to the Schilthorn cablecar ride stopping at Gimmelwald Muerren Birg and Schilthorn world famous revolving restaurant.

There is a safety deposit of £200 is required on payment of balance this is returnable within 2 weeks of departure subject to the apartment being left in good condition.

Children are very welcome and the apartment is relatively child safe .Games and some toys are also available as are nappies for toddlers and childrens cutlery and electric purree machine. The stunning brand new apartment is situated on the first floor , the steps are gradual and the balcony is a sun trap and inspiring for artists. All bedding is low allergenic, there are carpets in the bedrooms which will be reguarlaly cleaned, the main living area and bathroom is tiled. Though a none smoking apartment smoking is permitted on the balcony. At present we have TV with DVD facility, there are ample films and CD`s provided We can supply sledges with baby seats and walking sticks free of charge.

Central location for the jungfrau ski area

Muerren hosts steep, in places difficult terrain and is reached by the Schilthorn cableway or Muerren Grutschalp cable-car.Wengen, and Kleine Scheidegg have gentler pistes with the exception of the Lauberhorn racing Piste. Grindelwald is also accessible from Lauterbrunnen, or over Scheidegg when conditions are good one can ski down to Grund at the bottom of the Mannlichen cableway. There is a regular bus service 50m away from the apartment which services all stations.

Other Activities In winter the tennis courts double as a natural ice rink. We have an ice-climbing tower and ice-go-karting
