Domaine de Matourne, a vineyard and winery estate, producing premium Red, White and Rosé AOC Côtes de Provence wines, consists of 30 secluded ha, thereof 8 ha planted to vines. It is located 4 km above Flayosc, an old Provençal village, 90 km West of Nice, 80 km East of Aix-en-Provence and 30 km North of the Mediterranean. There are three rental properties on the Estate: one is the original Stone Bastide, 65 sq.m., rebuilt in 1980, which is adjacent to the owners' house, but fully independent with its own large terrace overlooking the vineyard; The second is the Lodge above the Estate winery, 85 sq.m., again fully independent and without any neighbours; The third is a Cottage; 28 sq.m., rebuilt in stone in the late 80s, totally secluded, located 80 m from the winery, directly above the vineyard. The Estate pool, 14 by 7 m, with a pool house and a large sun deck and located away from the houses, can be utilized without restrictions by the visitors.

Old, fully renovated, stone house in the heart of the winery estate with a large terrace facing South and overlooking the vineyard. The Bastide was the original house on the property, inhabitated by the owners until construction of a larger adjacent house. It opens South to a large terrace overlooking the vineyard, with a garden table, charcoal and electric barbecues. Living room on the ground floor with beams and fire place, comfortable sofa and armchairs, dinner table. A few steps up a small kitchen with four gas powered cooking spaces, electric grill oven, microwave oven, dish washer. Two bedrooms on the upper floor, one with a 180 cm large bed, the other with a 140 cm large bed. Adjacent the bathroom with bathtub and shower. The Bastide (around 65 sq.m.) is a charming house with lots of character. It is located next to the owners' house but is fully independent. The estate pool is 50 m away . The Domaine de Matourne is located in the Var hinterland, 5 km West of Draguignan, and 3 km North of Flayosc, in a totally secluded and beautiful setting; The houses offered for weekly renting are located in the centre of the 30 ha property, far away from any neighbours. Flayosc, an old, colourful provençal village, offers several bakeries, two food stores, two meat stores, a fish store, 6 restaurants, several cafe-bars, a pharmacy, several medical doctors. For larger purchases there are several super- and hypermarkets in Draguignan, thereof Carrefour and Intermarché.

  • Reservation and payment:
    Please make inquiries and/or reservations by e-mail, fax or phone, by providing full contact details to allow us to respond without delay. Once you have made a reservation you will receive by e-mail a reservation contract. To validate the reservation, you will have make a down payment of 50% of the total rental fee, either by bank transfer or credit card debit. The remaining rental fee is payable as per your arrival, either by credit card or in cash.

    At arrival a security deposit of Euro 100 is required, to be refunded at departure, except deductions for breakage and other damages.

    From October through March an electric heating charge of Euro 30 per week will be requested.
