Superb duplex located on the 3rd (top) floor of a small exclusive apartment block. The entrance is on the lower floor, which opens into the hallway and then a spacious, light double aspect open-plan living room with dining area and sliding doors from both areas opening onto the stunning wrap around lower terrace with views of Cap Ferrat. There is a separate spacious, fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast area and sliding doors onto the lower terrace, views over the bay. There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase and has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, TV, fantastic ensuite bathroom. On the lower floor the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, TV and ensuite bathroom.. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds, ensuite shower room. Private panoramic large upper roof-terrace with summer kitchen and small garden with lemon tree and lavender linking the upper and lower terraces. The pool is a 2 minute walk from the front door within the complex.

Located in a luxurious, small apartment block in a quiet area of Villefranche-sur-Mer, just above the Port, below the Basse Corniche, and yet within walking distance, 5 minutes, of the boulangerie, newspaper shop, small supermarket, banks, pharmacy and kiddie parks. 5 minutes walk from the Port with a selection of restaurants and beach, A 10 minute walk along the castle sea wall to the old part of Villefranche with a larger selection of restaurants, shops and activities. Further along from the old village along the sea front is the railway station and main sandy beach. From the railway station you can go East to Monaco and Italy or West to Nice, Antibes and Cannes, all within an hour. Nice is just a 10 minute drive away and has an excellent selection of restaurants, markets, nightclubs and shopping. Monaco is just a 20 minute drive and has excellent shopping, restaurants and nightclubs. There are a couple of kiddy parks within a 5 minute walk and zoo in Cap Ferrat.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Discount : 3 Week Stay & Long Stay = 5% discount

    A deposit of 25% is required on making the booking, the balance to be paid one month before arrival. On receipt of the deposit the renter will get a rental agreement. On receipt of the balance directions to the apartment and contact details for meeting the apartment manager will be forwarded. The manager will have the keys and show the renter around the apartment.
    The rental rate includes bed linen, towels, internet and electricity. Cleaning and laundry on leaving the apartment is complimentary.
  • There is security payment of €500 which is payable to the apartment manager on collection of the keys. The security deposit will be refunded on return of the keys subject to no damage to the property, the fixtures or fittings. If convenient, the deposit can be held in any of the major currencies.
  • Changeover is Saturday to Saturday. As change over is tight in the high season, access to the apartment will be 3pm or later on arrival, and departure will be before 10am. We will be as flexible as possible for early and late check-ins when notified.

Children are welcome but parents should be aware we are on the third floor with extensive outdoor terraces and balcony space and an internal marble staircase. Fantastic apartment in Villefranche sur Mer

My husband and I spent a wonderful long weekend in this apartment in mid February 08. Our first impressions were that the place was huge and really bright! It's spread over two levels and, in addition to a wraparound balcony on the lower level, has a fantastic large terrace upstairs which was absolutely perfect for us to catch some sun and enjoy some wine! Most of the windows in the apartment are floor to ceiling and the majority of them are actually double doors opening onto the gorgeous outdoor spaces. All of the doors have good locks, so if you have kids, there wouldn't be any safety issues with them. The views are spectacular - opening the electric blinds in the master bedroom every morning to the view of the fabulous yachts bobbing on the water is definitely a most pleasant way to wake up! Everything in the apartment was spotless and all of the furniture and fittings appear brand new. The apartment block is located a very short stroll away from the main street in Villefranche sur Mer and a few minutes walk from the port, where there is a great choice of places to eat, drink and watch the fancy yachts. We took the bus into Monte Carlo and Nice on two of the days. It was simple to do and the busstop is situated on the main street, just up from the apartment - you can't miss it. All in all, we had a really enjoyable time in a very comfortable and clean apartment. We've already recommended it to our friends and we'll definitely be back again.

We were 6 adults and 1 kid who stayed there for one week. We are very pleased with the stay. The apartment was excellent located close to the sea and the marina. Indoors good quality and awesome view from the two terraces. Highly recommendable to most people, with or without children.

Beautiful Apartment with Amazing Views

Our group of four, completely enjoyed our stay at this
beautiful apartment. Fantastic views from almost every
room, and from the extensive outside terrace spaces.

The apartment is very clean, and furnished to very high
standards. The bathrooms are the best I have seen
in 10 years of renting in the Nice/Villefranche area.

The location is centrally located to many areas of interest,
and is conveniently located to excellent public transportation.
Very convenient parking for a car.

We are looking forward to returning next year.

Great family holiday

Villefranche-sur-mer is spectacular & this apartment is an equally spectacular place to enjoy it! When going on a family holiday we love the freedom & flexibility that self-catering has to offer but do not wish to compromise in terms of luxury & comfort! We want cleanliness & style coupled with plenty of space for Mum & Dad to relax & for the kids to play - so in this respect we struck the jackpot with this apartment!

Not only is the indoor area very impressive there’s also incredibly generous outdoor space which we particularly enjoyed. We’d start off our day with breakfast on the terrace, & then wind down at night with a glass of vine & admire moonlight on the marina & the magnificent views. On days when we decided to give sight-seeing a miss we happily enjoyed the terrace in both the sun & the shade & took the occasional dip in the outdoor pool!

We didn’t use a car on our holiday, however there’s secured parking available should you decide to use one. We did all our trips by foot & public transport. We took a bus to Monte Carlo & Nice and then took a train journey to Cannes . We strolled through the meandering streets of the Old Town, and took leisurely walks to the marina, the beach & neighbouring village. Our kids particularly loved the playground on the main street so we spent a lot of time there too!.

Villefranche has a good selection of shops & conveniences with plenty of fine restaurants which give a warm welcome to kids. We’d a splendid family holiday so wish to share some tips so others can enjoy!
