The Apartment is one bedroomed it has a spacious lounge which consists of a 3 seater sofa bed in luxurious suede, with velvet cushions and armrests. Glass coffee table and occasional table, TV on modern stand with glass doors and turn table to swivel the TV to the required angle. Decorated with attractive wall lights and modern pictures. This room also has air-conditioning and sun screen lining on the curtains. Patio doors lead on to the terrace with patio table, four chairs, clothes dryer and views over the Atlantic Ocean, Las Americas and Los Cristianos. The balcony also has a retractable sun blind, a table and four chairs. Kitchen is well equipped with full oven and 4 ring ceramic hob with extractor fan. Full fridge and separate freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Good selection of crockery and cutlery and plenty of storage space for food etc.

Altamira is a front line apart hotel in the upmarket area of of Adeje next to the Del Duque amongst all the five hotels, away from the normal tourist areas and yet close enough for those who wish to enjoy these attractions If you want something more lively in the evening then a short taxi ride to las Americas is around eight euros. A Short stroll along the front will find you in Bahia del Duque beach, regarded as the best on the island. Restaurants abound and for shopaholics, designer shops, supermarkets and even local outdoor markets are within easy reach. You can also visit the Tacandi renown Spa. Also La Calleta famous for beautiful fish restaurants For families Altamira is ideal, your children can enjoy all the daytime pleasures they desire. Come night its mom and dads turn to sit back, relax, open a bottle of wine and enjoy!

    ' Deposit of 30% is due when the client confirms the booking. The following cancellation charges will apply: 56+days= deposit, 28-41days= 50%, 14-27days= 75% and 0-14days= 100%.
    ' Balance of the rent is payable not less than 8 weeks before start of rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Agent reserves the right to give notice in writing, that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

    Payment is made by credit cards, There is also a 3.5% credit card handling charge when booking. The Client is strongly advised to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc., since this is not covered by the Owner's insurance.

We Love Tenerife

This is the 2nd time my wife & I have stayed in this apartment.
Staying for a week in mid March 09 we had a lovely time again.
The apartment is totally perfect for us, hence returning for repeat holiday.

It is so comfortable and accomodated all our living needs more than adequately.
All the rooms are very clean, uncluttered, and tastefully furnished.
We love the veranda that over looks Altimira with a view of the sea.

Got to disagree with previous post with regard kitchen and Bathroom. They were again perfect for our needs. We found the shower luxurious and far from small. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need, & we cooked a few proper recipes during our stay.

We love this part of Tenerife very much. The area has so much to offer.

A fantastic apartment and a Wonderful complex to have on your doorstep. Special thanks to Café Mena, OC’s Bar, Lorenzo’s, La Coscha Restaraunt, Altimira Complex Staff especially Antonio & Pedro on reception.

Looking forward to our return.

Uncomfortable & small

lovely apartment but for the sofa which we found very hard and uncomfortable as it had no arm rest or soft cusions. Plus shower was rather small would find it very tight for someone of large stature to get in (Im 14 stone)and found it very small could not turnaround. Also could do with some updateing were utensils are concerned. washing machine instructions in german.
Owner's Response: This is my first and only complaint about any of my properties World wide and we are shocked, although we do thank the reviewer for acknowledging that the apartment is “lovely” and for them scoring it at 4/5.
The reviewer omits to say that they are frequent visitors to Altamira where the apartment sizes are comparable with each other. The reviewer also fails to mention that they stayed in our apartment for three weeks and never once approached our agents or attempted to make contact with us during that time.
The reviewer admits that the apartment is of a good size although their comments do not give that immediate impression.
The accommodation is a 1-bedroomed apartment housing 2 single beds with the additional benefit of a sofa bed catering for children or short stay holidaymakers. The Reviewer’s booking was for 2 people.
All of our properties have agents based in the particular resort to ensure that the contents and condition of each of our holiday homes remain of the highest standard and, had there been a problem with the apartment’s utensils etc., then any shortage would have been reported and replaced. The washing machine instructions are multi-lingual and include English.
As for the shower, there are very few holiday apartments boasting extra large showers; the shower in our property is of standard size. This reviewer failed to inform us at any point during numerous telephone calls/emails that they had special needs due to their size/weight; had they done so then we would not have accepted their booking.
All our apartments have, at some point or other, been booked on long-term rentals with our clients returning to us year after year. It is a sad fact that the only people guaranteed to make comments / review holiday accommodation are those who wish to grumble; we hear little or nothing from satisfied customer, except through repeat bookings and we are happy to report that we are inundated with such bookings.
