Beautifully Restored Finca with Pool and Stunning Valley Views, 30 mins to sea.

Set in over 4 acres amongst Lemon, Mango and Avocado plantations, this rural retreat has its own little valley, full of interest and perfect for exploring the surrounding natural habitat. There is even a hill top cave and two ruins to explore, perfect adventuring for both children and adults. At night see the stars as you have never seen before. If you are looking for complete escapism and nature, then this is the place to be! The house is all on one-level and is therefore easy for all. Children's safety has been heavily considered and there is unobtrusive fencing around the swimming pool and the area around the finca. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room for hot summer nights, and an additional powerful floor fan if required. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Please note that the access is under 10 minutes off the main local road along an unmade dirt track on a dry riverbed- it's ok for ordinary hire cars and it's all part of the adventure of our hideaway home.

If you feel the need to drag yourself away from the Finca... Cutar is only 5 mins by car up a steep road, or via Benamargosa, along a beautiful scenic route, which we recommend. This is a very pretty, undiscovered traditional white Pueblo with very basic shopping and two bars, great for a real hit of traditional Spanish life and a good place to buy the local Raisin Wine! Benamargosa (10 mins by car) is a proper working town and has very good supermarkets, bars, restaurants, tapas bars, banks, pharmacy, a 24 hour Medical Centre and a market every Tuesday morning. A lovely little garden park leads through to the public pool which is open in the Summer months. There is a very good public golf course 30 mins away at Baviera. For more intense shopping there is the El Ingenio Shopping Mall just outside Velez Malaga, which is also a town for culture and shopping.Torre del Mar is a very Spanish beach resort 30 minutes away. Nerja, Lake Vinuela and Frigilliana are all within 40 mins drive
