Villa Begonvil is a beautiful new triplex villa, built to the highest standards in the Belek region of southern Turkey. The villa features 3 bedrooms (one ensuite) with a large garden including a private pool. The villa is situated in a peaceful area, with views of a golf course in one direction and the mighty Taurus Mountains in the other. Villa Begonvil is less than five minutes drive from a wonderful sandy Mediterranean beach, and is less than 10 minutes' drive to 14 top class golf courses. There is also a British bar 200m away. The main attractions of the area are almost guaranteed year-round sunshine, beaches and golf, and many interesting historical sights a short drive away, including Antalya with its ancient walled town and harbour, the bustling resort of Side with its Roman ruins, and the magnificent amphitheatre of Aspendos, a wonderful setting for summer concerts. In winter ski resorts are less than two hours away, but it is still warm enough to sunbathe on the beach!

With a peaceful location between the small towns of Kadriye and Belek, Villa Begonvil offers the perfect location for exploring a multitude of tourist and cultural sites in the local area. Both towns offer good shopping opportunities, there are 14 golf courses within a 10 minute drive, and two beach parks located on a stretch of golden sandy beach 5 and 10 minutes away by car respectively. There is a big waterpark nearby, as well as roman ampitheatres and ruins to explore in the ancient cities of Aspendos, Perge and Side. Antalya with shops, nightlife and a historic old town is 45 minutes away, you can go white water rafting or quad biking in the mountains, and even ski in the winter! The transfer time from Antalya airport is only 25 minutes, and flights are frequent and year-round.

Golfer's paradise!: Golf in Turkey is relatively unknown to most British golfers. But there are currently 14 golf courses comprising 261 golf holes within 10 minutes of Villa Begonvil, and another two courses in construction. The courses are of a high standard, designed by stars of the sport such as Nick Faldo and Colin Montgomerie. The low season is generally midwinter (when the weather is usually perfect for golf, but it can rain) and summer (when it is very hot). September to November and March to May is the golf high season in Turkey. Alll courses have driving ranges and practice facilities, and for many golfers Turkey is becoming a great alternative to the traditional golf venues of Spain and Portugal. Green fees vary between €40 and €100.

Ski and sunbathe on the same day!: For winter guests, skiing is possible at Saklikent in the Bey mountain range, which rises steeply to 3000m behind Antalya. The slopes are ideal for beginners, offer magnificent sea and mountain views, and are just a two-hour drive from Villa Begonvil. A larger ski resort, Davraz, is a two hour and 15 min drive to the north of Belek and offers longer and more challenging runs. On a sunny day you can literally ski and then sunbathe on the beach on the same day!

Perfect climate: The summers are dry and hot in southern Turkey (average max. 34C) and winters generally mild (15C in Jan/Feb), with rain a possibility. However, these are shade temperatures so bear in mind that it is a lot warmer than this in the sun - and the Antalya region gets plenty of sun, more than 300 days a year of it in fact!

I rented this villa for a week from 12/7/2009 to 18/7/2009 with my family and two children,The villa is very clean and fully equiped and well maintained, everything is perfect as descriped on the on the web.
The owner is very kind and very helpful, The gardner who visit the villa to clean the pool also very kind.
the area is quite, we visited the dolphen show and the belek market. Usualy we visit antalya city around 32 KM from the villa on daily basis to visit the markets.
I recommend this villa for others and I'm sure that I will rent the same in case I visit antalya for a second time.

Comfortable, well furnished property

Just got back from spending ten days at this home in Antalya. There were four of us staying in the home. None of us are golfers. We used the house as a home base to explore the area. Had a blast rafting, hiking at waterfalls, taking the gullet down the river from Magnovat (spelling?)

Many mornings, we would get up and make a full Turkish breakfast and eat on the outside deck. We also cooked dinner at home a few times. There were plenty of utensils, dishes, pans etc. to meet our needs.

The house is very comfortable, big enough to have some privacy, has plenty of bathrooms, very good movies (we just hung out watching them many of the nights).

The pool wasn't open, but the owner (Jamie) found us a place to swim laps. I am sure the pool is great during the summer season.

We lucked out as the weather was very nice during our stay in November.

Jamie was great and responded promptly to any of our questions or needs. There is a binder in the house containing information pertaining to the area and the operation of tv, washing machine etc.

The property was very well maintained and clean. The gardens were nice . We even ate eggplant from the garden and limes from the trees.

I would definitely recommend this property to a friend.
