This listing features an in-ground pool! Built in 1869 by local farmer Silas Gilman (famous for his rutabagas), this five bedroom home sits on 28+ acres of Southport Island. Quietly situated, this classic Maine farmhouse offers plenty of area for exploration. Watch the wildlife abound in your very own backyard. Gather the family around the pool for sun and fun (maintained weekly). Barbecue pool side as the children play. Adults, take that midnight swim on those hot summer nights. (Towels not included) Only two miles to Hendrick's Head Beach and General Store. Only ten minutes to downtown Boothbay Harbor.
