PRETTY COMFORTABLE 3 BEDROOM APARTMENT. Ist letting after complete renovation & renewal of floors,doors, & reconstruction of kitchen, bathroom & separate toilet.. The windows have been renewed with double-glazed units.Before our purchase of this flat in 1974 we picked what we considered the best position in Benidorm & bought in the sea front building at this point. For years we have had very happy summer holidays with our 3 children in this ideally situated & happy flat. It is so close to the sea that you can leave in bathing costumes & flip-flops to cross the safe pedestrianised sea-front & sit on the beach in view of the balcony. It is in a 4 storey block with a comfortable balcony overlooking a main pedestrian street with tables & chairs from the cafes either side providing interest by street entertainers & musicians in the evenings & a good view of processions on Carnival days. When you want to eat out there are excellent Spanish & international restaurants & cafes close by.

Close by is calle Santo Domingo a street full of tapas bars serving mouth-watering delicacies. Benidorm is renowned for it's quantity & quality of attractions with beautiful surrounding countryside & mountain scenery. The attractions include Aqualandia (Water park), Mundomar park with super Dolphinarium exotic birds & sea-lions, Terra-Natura with elephants lions & tigers in beautiful extensive grounds & Terra-mitica park of the ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean all within easy bus ride. There are 2 large open markets held locally on Wednesdays & Sundays. Benidorm Palace provides supper with theatre & dancing.

New lift from downstairs tiled patio suitable for push-chairs. Secure 24hr. monitored parking is available 5 minutes walk from the apartment at an extra cost of 30€/week. Recently connected to Astra 1 satellite which receives 4 English speaking News Channells;including BBC World Service, but not UK regulars (BBC1, ITV, etc.) You can see the building on the Levante Beach web-cam on www.comunitatvalenciana.com It is the 3/4 storey red-brick building to the R (E) of the 7/8 storey Hotel Selomar recognisable by the blue netting covering it at present for reforms.

What a FAB apartment so handy for everything. The atmosphere on the street below is great. We have been in many apartments in Benidorm but this beats them all. A minute to the beautiful beach and sea. Ian and Pilar are very kind and helpful they even bought us a teapot. The bowl of fruit was a lovely touch. We were 5 adults and we had plenty of room (nice to have two toilets) and very comfy beds. It would be nice though to have Sky TV even if the price was up a bit

Even Better This Time!

This is the second year running we have stayed in the fantastic apartment- this time was even better! The apartment is situated 30 seconds walk away from the gorgeous sandy beach, within walking distance of all the local shops you could possibly require- For the attractions that are a little further away the apartment is 2 mintues walk away from a bus stop where we easily got cheap transport to Aqualandia (Water park), Terra-Natura with elephants lions & tigers & Terra-mitica Theme Park of the ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean.

This spacious apartment-which easily accomodated our 5 girl party-was even better this year- it now has UK television channels and a fantastic Air Conditioning System- which we really appreciated in the August heat! The kitchen is fully equiped if you choose to stay in an cook for yourselves. The apartment was spotless upon arrival and obviously well maintained by Ian & Pilar- who are possib;y two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet!

10/10! FANTASTIC!!

We have just returned from our second fabulous holiday in this delightful apartment. We ( my son, grandchildren Jay age 9, Madison age 7 and Paige age 5) just would not consider staying anywhere else. The apartment is so convenient for absolutely everything, beach, cafes, shopping, markets play parks and funfairs for the children etc. The apartment itself is immaculately clean, very comfortable and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our hosts are the most charming and helpful people you could wish to meet. We will definitely be going back again. Grandma Moira

just what you dream of

what can i say as someone who has holidayed and lived in benidorm this had something to live up to,and did it?not half.Ian and pilar were the most genuine and warm people you could wish to meet nothing is to much trouble as for the apartment well it it felt like a home more than an apartment from walking through the door if this place needs more i would be being picky.At the foot of the old town and a nice strole to the centre this place has it all.Would we go back yes but only because we cant stay forever and thats not just my opinion but the wife my son and his fieind aswell (2 teenage boys) th sooner we can save the money or win the lottery the better again thanks for everthing ian and pilar

Great two weeks, will be coming back for more !!!

As a family we have rented in excess of 20 properties over the past 10 years as independant travellers and this was by far the cleanest apartment visited. And then to find after a long day travelling some drinks and a big bowl of cherries in the fridge almost brought a tear to my wife's eye. The simple things always make the difference.

The apartment living space is quite small for a 3 bedroom apartment but that is well described in the advertisment so is not a criticism and reflected in the cost of the rental. Not much room is required when the great Levante beach is around a 20 second stroll out of the building.

The renovation of the apartment has brought it to a great standard of fixtures and fittings. The ability to fully open up the balcony is great to let the sea breeze in. Although the air-conditioning works a treat! If anything I would encourage a little more spending to push the apartment up into the luxury bracket and charge a little more (sky tv, plasma tv, games consoles etc). Maybe also encourage games / book / magazine swapping, optional welcome hamper etc.

The apartment is set above a bustling avenue meaning a constant great atmosphere amongst the cafes and restaurants. Not too noisy as both my young children went off to sleep with ease. Must mention here that we all said how comfy the beds were and that makes life easy!

A large supermarket is only a 5 minute walk away to get all the provisions you need at a surprisingly good price.

Any very minor issues were sorted out very quickly and the owners couldn't have been more helpful, this is for the duration of our stay and the many questions I asked before we arrvied.

Plenty of cupboard space and has the facilities of a home rather than a rental apartment. E.g. plenty of cups/glasses/cutlery/pots & pans.

Without a doubt we will be returning and I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, many thanks.
