This beautiful villa is set in its own private grounds with swimming pool, child's splash pool and gardens in Kemer, Fethiye. The villa has 4 good size bedrooms, the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and jacuzzi bath. The villa has a spacious open plan lounge/dining area with a built in open fire place. The kitchen situated just off the lounge gives direct access to a large veranda overlooking the pool and garden area. The villa is fully furnished with air conditioning. Includes 3 bathrooms. We also include a free welcome basket with hot and cold drinks, eggs, cheese, butter, bread and jam; a weekly clean/change of bedding and a meet and greet visit which previous customers have found very helpful. **Early booking discounts available, plus a free welcome basket and free sunshine. The villa is situated in the stunning countryside of Kemer, with a beautiful mountain backdrop. The town of Kemer is only 10 mins walk away with shops, mini markets and local restaurants. There is a weekly market every Friday where local produce, clothes and souvenirs can be bought. Kemer offers the peaceful living of unspoilt Turkey with the added benefit of being within easy reach of many larger towns and attractions. The nearest beach is Patara which is a fabulous sandy beach and 22km long. Takes 25 minutes by car. The cosmopolitan harbour town of Fethiye is only a 25 minute bus ride from Kemer. The local mini bus service runs every 15 minutes in the summer and half hourly throughout winter from Kemer. Fethiye is a bustling traditional Turkish town. Stroll along the harbour, take a boat trip, shop abundantly, dine out from a large selection of restaurants. The famous Oludeniz beach can also be reached from Fethiye. There is so much to do you won't be disappointed.

Different but wonderful

We chose to be outside of the normal resort areas. When we arrived at midnight on the first day we questioned our decision. The local town looked very basic and there seemed no life in the villa residences which were all very remote, up a dirt track. However the villa itself was absolutely lovely and the welcome pack helped as we were very hungry.
For the rest of the week we gradually got used to the surroundings and ventured out and about. The local town is not a place to wander down to in the evening, in your best clothes for a nice meal. It's a good 20 minute walk and the roads mean you'd be a bit dusty by the time you get there. However, get the local taxi and head for "The Breeze" restaurant up the hill and you won't be disappointed. We had the friendliest taxi driver in the world and the restaurant had some of the best views I've known. The owners couldn't do enough for us and the food was good. They even sorted out watching The Premiership football on a massive screen.
I also had a shave in the local barber and everyone in the town was absolutely lovely. It is very traditional Turkey and you won't find any food in the supermarkets that has been brought in especially for the brits, but you won't starve!
The assistance we got fropm Caroline was brilliant, she was very helpful and visited us on the first day. All of the local workers, from the pool cleaners to the general maintenance guys were also really friendly and good fun.
Driving in Turkey is fine as they are all so mad no-one notices your mistakes!
We took trips to Saklikent, the Fethiye market and Olu Deniz. All worth a visit although you need to be very physically able for Saklikent due to all the scrambling over rocks that's needed.
All-in-all the villa was absolutely lovely, the pool was a good size and was cleaned daily, the locals were all very charming, the children felt very safe, the weather was wonderful and the local town was just a great experience of Turkish life.
We loved Turkey and would definitely go back again!
