Les Ecologis is a recently built architect designed villa comprising luxury apartments with private terraces. Geothermal reversible under floor heating and cooling enhances a very high quality of comfortable self catering accommodation. Perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in a glorious climate. Les Ecologis is not suitable for children. Amenities include a 10m x 5m heated pool with extensive sunbathing terraces with poolside furniture, parasols, pool room with adjacent shower, landscaped garden providing quiet seating areas with lovely views of surrounding countryside, barbecue area with dining furniture, parking for 4 cars. Large communal laundry room with 3 washing machines and outside garden drying area.

Le Genet is a bright, pretty apartment accommodating 4 people. It has an L shaped open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has comfortable seating, TV, DVD and Hi-fi. The modern, fully fitted kitchen has a cooker with extractor hood, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is one double and one twin bedroom and adjacent to the bedrooms is a WC with whb and separate shower room. Each bedroom is equipped with fitted or free standing wardrobes, drawer units, bedside cabinets, with lamps for reading and a mirror. A large picture window in the kitchen and French doors leading from the living area to a private terrace with views of the surrounding countryside, make outside living and dining easy and pleasurable.

Cessenon is a lively, pretty village with shops, cafe bars and restaurants. It is a very popular tourist destination because of its perfect location in the picturesque Orb Valley on the edge of the beautiful Haut Languedoc National Park, surrounded by vineyards and with the river flowing through its centre. Close to the village you'll find a farm zoo whilst a canoe’ kayak centre is located a five minute drive away. The delights of the beautiful Languedoc region with its mountains, lakes, and rivers and the Mediterranean coastline extending down to Spain are all close at hand. St Chinian the centre of this wine producing region is a ten minute drive, whilst the bustling town of Beziers with its smart shopping and daily markets is a half hour by car. An area rich in history, the fascinating fortified city of Carcassonne and Montpellier the regional cultural capital with its breathtaking architecture are both within easy reach. History, cuisine, wonderful wine, stunning scenery.

Notes: The outdoor heated pool is shared by the owners who are on site and by the occupants of the other 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment has an underfloor reversible heating/cooling system operated by geothermal energy. Bath and hand towels are provided but guests should bring their own swimming towels. There is a poolside shower and pool room. A communal laundry room at the rear of the villa has 3 washing machines and there is a garden drying area.

I spent a week in Le Genet in April 2009 and returned feeling relaxed and refreshed. The property is new (only a year old), modern, clean, and well equiped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The property had both a HiFi and DVD and Diane and Gordon were happy to lend me films and music from their collection - very useful when it rained (as it does in April). The property has extensive landscaped gardens with a variety of Mediterranean plants. There is a large BBQ area, and terraces with comfortable furniture. The pool is larger than average and great to swim in and lounge beside.
I'd recommend this propery and hope to return sometime soon.
