The villa ' Casa mar' is in a privileged location, set back from the road in a quiet area with the popular main beach of Las Cucharas literally on the door step. A car is not essential for stays at this property as all amenities are in walking distance. The villa has been furnished to a very high standard and comprises of a spacious fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining room with American style fridge with ice-maker, oven and hob, dishwasher, all usual small appliances and a separate utility area with washing machine. There is a step down into the lounge area which opens out to the private pool & wooden decking with stairs up to the roof terrace where you can find the BBQ and alfresco dining area with fantastic sea views. The first bedroom with two single beds and a large bathroom with corner bath and double sinks are also found on the ground floor. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The sofa in the lounge pulls out to provide a second double bed if needed

WATER SPORTS

Lanzarote is ideal for water sports and boasts a good range. WINDSURFING - This is available from the beach Las Cucharas just a 100 meters away and has numerous places where you can hire equipment and have a great sail. SEA KAYAK and diving are also available here. KITE SURFING - is increasing growing here in Lanzarote and Famara beach is the main place not far from Costa Teguise. SURFING - best waves are either off East Coast Arrieta beach or Punta Mujeres or West Coast at Famara. You can have lessons and hire equipment at Famara. SAILING - For a day out sailing the prestigious Puerto Calero offers either private yacht or speed boat charters or a day out on a 80ft Catarmaran. FISHING - You can always go fishing either from Costa Teguise or go out on a boat from Puerto Calero.

GOLF

The 18 hole golf course is in Costa Teguise set at the foot of an old volcano, surrounded by 3000 palms, cactus and beautiful views to the sea. Group or individual classes are available from one of the two golf professionals.

MOUNTAIN BIKE- Walking-Birding

There are some great tracks from Costa Teguise for mountain biking, cycling and Walking, there is plenty to explore and discover. There are some fantastic walks from on the island, organised excursions can be arranged or you can discover the fantastic costal and mountain tracks independently. This is a great location to see the islands wild life. There is a fantastic array of Bird species on the island, including, Herons, Egrets, Osprey, Vultures, Falcons, Kestrels, Swifts, Hoopoes, Bee-eaters etc etc.....
