Sites/Transport:
From Epsom to Waterloo Station takes about 30 mintues and from Waterloo you can walk to many of the great sites in London. From Waterloo alone you can see both up and down the River Thames and all its wonderful buildings. Nearby are Hampton Court, Epsom racecourse, Polesdon Lacey, Wimbledon, and Guildford. .

Entertainment and Restaurants:
There are plenty of restaurants in Epsom, more than enough to dine out at a different restaurant for a week or so.
There is a multiplex cinema and theatre within walking distance. The Wimbledon theatre is half an hour away with its wide variety of drama, music, ballet and opera.
Sports:
Walking up to the Downs and the views over London is a must. Other sports nearby include golf, swimming, gym, tennis, squash (must be pre booked), badminton, horse riding and cycling. The gym and swimming pool and sports centre are walking distance and the nearest municipal golf course is 10 minutes by car. The owners can organise tennis and squash for you. Epsom is famous for its horses and there are several stables nearby. Walton Heath golf course is 15/20 minutes by car and Wentworth is 45 minutes by car.
