Luxury 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments on a 4-star resort on the edge of the traditional fishing village of Burgau in the Western Algarve. Apartments RBUR06 (first-floor with private roof terrace) and are RBUR08 (ground floor) are in the same block. Apartment RBUR09 is in the neighbouring block. On-site facilities include communal pool & children’s pool, superbly-equipped gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, changing rooms, bar and restaurant. The nearest beach is a short walk away through the village (Burgau). For golfers, there are several golf courses within a 15-20 minutes drive. For those who enjoy walking, this is a fantastic area for walks along the stunning coastline. The village of Burgau is approximately 10km west from Lagos, and about 1 hour from Faro airport. Burgau is a popular holiday destination for families, and is ideal for those with young children. Also ideal for winter stays, with heating throughout.

En-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, bidet, and overhead shower. 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds that can be joined to form a double bed. 2nd bathroom also including bath and overhead shower. Lounge with 2 sofas, dining table and chairs with seating for up to 6 people, coffee table, flat-screen LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system. Very large balcony (accessible from lounge, bedrooms, kitchen) with sea and village views, built-in barbecue, tables and chairs. Fully-fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. Wall-mounted air conditioning / heating units in both bedrooms and lounge. Electric shutters in bedrooms and lounge. Underfloor heating in both bathrooms.

Burgau beach is a short walk (just over 5 minutes) from the resort, and there are several other unspoilt beaches in the area. Burgau beach is a safe, beautiful sandy beach with a superb beach bar / restaurant. The area right next to the resort is ideal for cliff-top walks with stunning views. The nearest golf course is at Parque da Floresta (10 minutes by car), and the courses at Boavista and Palmares are also a short drive away (15-20 minutes by car).

Superb holiday apartment in Burgau Western Algarve

Lovely modern apartment, with all the facilities that you would expect. It was spotlessly clean, and in immaculate condition. The whole experience of booking, taking over the apartment etc was faultless.
Burgau is a quiet village, and the apartment is in a very quiet corner. The beach is lovely, and we spent many hours snorkelling, but be aware the water is cold, at 15C in August it is colder than many southern UK beaches,so Cicerone guide to find many walks within a short drive, and of course superb cliff walks directly from the apartment.
I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending this apartment to friends looking for a quiet holiday.
