Located right in the center of Funchal with sea view. Close to the hotels and communal swimming pools. Botanical garden 5 minutes drive. Golf course nearby. Next to restaurants, stores, all services, gardens, theater, cinema, sea, etc. Supermarket about 100 meters and a big market about 2 minutes by car; pharmacy and rent-a-car in the same street, fruit and vegetables shop and garden in front. Children park. Lift access to property.

An nice, inexpensive place in Funchal

My husband and I spent four days in Funchal, Madeira and loved staying in the apartment. While the apartment was not in the heart of the city, it was close enough for us to walk there -- which is where you'll find an abundance of restaurants and shops. You don't need a car; the public transportation is good. The apartment offers all the amenities we needed -- and it was very clean, safe, and well-maintained. Compared to other rentals, this one provides great value for your money. One of the most pleasant features was Carla, the owner. She helped organize transportation for us; she was most helpful and consistently replied quickly to emails. Knowing she was there if we needed her, gave our stay that extra touch.
