The old town of Castillas, renowned for its excellent seafood, is at the edge of the marina where boating activities include dolphins trips. There is also an exciting range of shops, bars and restaurants. For those who just want to relax, there are long sandy beaches and safe bathing close by. A waterpark & Safari Park are both within a 15 minute drive. The historic medieval town of Ronda, where bullfighting originated is an hour away. Closer still, the picturesque, white village of Casares nestles on the hillside. Duty free shopping is available on the nearby Rock of Gibraltar with its famous apes. For those seeking a more active holiday, Tariffa, the windsurfing capital of Europe is an hour away. A day trip to the suq in Tangiers provides an exciting insight to this very different culture on the African continent.
