Grotte di Castro was the Etruscan village and not only has many ancient Etruscan remains, but is also surrounded by a countryside and medieval architecture. A short drive north takes you into Umbria and Toscany, and through beautiful rolling countryside's you arrive at Orvieto with its uniche Duomo, perched on a volcanic outcrop.close by there is also Civita di Bagnoregio the Dying City, so called because of 1 extraordinary bridge which spans a deep gorge providing a view from the top which is unbelievable.
