The charming country villa is right in the middle of a scenic hilly area. The two-storey typical Tuscan country house has a comfortable veranda with a marvellous view over the surrounding fields up to the medieval town Volterra. A fantastic panoramic swimming pool in the garden is the ideal place to relax and a perfect setting for your barbecue parties. The villa is made of 3 large double bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms (1 with tub), 1 toilet , a very large and comfortable living room with billiards, fireplace and TV room, a loft with a piano and a large fully equipped kitchen for your parties. The outdoor barbecue is available for excellent pizzas, bread or grill parties. The owners living nearby are ready to cope with any of your needs. The villa is gay friendly and nudism is welcome. The villa is not suitable for children.

Tuscan cooking class in the villa

In the kitchen of the premises a three-hour cooking class is provided for you to learn how to prepare some delicious Tuscan recipes. In the following dinner you will taste all your creations together with some excellent local wines. A local cook will hold the class in an informal and amusing way and an English speaking assistant will tell you everything about the traditional dishes, the area and the local usages. 4 participants: 80 € per person wines included 6 participants: 65 € per person wines included 8 participants: 55 € per person wines included

Wine and food tasting tours

In the surroundings of Podere Paterno you have the chance to taste some excellent wines produced by renowned wine farms. We organize wine tasting excursions to some very interesting wine cellars with an unforgettable wine tasting. A local English speaking tour leader will sit in your car and take you to the premises explaining all the secrets of the Tuscan wine making. Car or minibus rental upon request. Italian classes in the villa

For those who want to get to learn in depth the Italian culture we organize very interesting tailor made Italian classes on any level with expert teachers. You will have a personal Italian mother tongue available for all the time you want in order to get the best from your learning.
