An exceptionally well positioned 4 bedroomed villa in a stunning location with a private swimming pool. 5 minutes from the beautiful 8km long La Barrosa Beach and less than an hour away from about 15 golf courses. Villa Jansara is a non-smoking, comfortable, well equipped villa. Sleeps 8-10 people + baby in 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite, 2 twin bedrooms and sofa-bed in lounge. Cot, highchair and baby monitor all provided. Open fire place, CD system and satellite TV. Large modern fully fitted kitchen (oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, breakfast bar). The kitchen leads onto a covered terrace, with gas bbq, table and chairs, sunloungers, grassed garden and large private swimming pool. Shops, bars, restaurants and the local supermarket are located in Novo Sancti Petri's centre which is a short car trip from the villa. Just 40 minutes from Jerez airport and 90 minutes from Seville and Gibraltar airports.

Villa Jansara is situated in the quiet, tranquil area of Pago Melilla on the outskirts of the up market, vibrant resort of Novo Sancti Petri which offers bars, restaurants, designer shops and a supermarket. The villa is near many golf courses including the 36 hole Novo Sancti Petri Golf Course designed by Seve Ballesteros. La Barrosa beach with 8km of fine white sand is a safe, clean beach which has received the Blue Flag Clean Beaches of Europe Award. Return to La Barossa promenade to enjoy fresh seafood whilst watching the evening sun go down over the sea. Chiclana town has all the offerings of a bustling town, including restaurants offering locally caught fish, bars, cafes, historic buildings, market and shops. You could also visit Cadiz, the oldest city in Europe or Jerez, famous for its flamenco, sherry and brandy bodegas, dancing horses and the Grand Prix. Alternatively, explore the rock at Gibraltar and do your tax free shopping there or the windsurfer paradise Tarifa.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are per week but daily rates can be calculated for longer or shorter holidays.
    The price includes: bed linen (except for cot), bath towels (not beach towels or swimming towels), gas, water, electricity and final cleaning.
    An initial non-refundable deposit of 20% is payable on booking. The balance (80%) to be paid 6 weeks prior to travel. If booking less than six weeks before departure the full amount must be paid on booking. Payment can be £ or €
    A deposit of 300 euros is payable on arrival and held for security and is refunded on departure once our property managers confirms that there was no damage or extra cleaning required.

Notes: Villa Jansara is a non-smoking, comfortable 4 bedroom villa (2 with double beds, 2 with twin beds + cot and double sofa bed) Master bedroom has an en-suite and all have fitted wardrobes. The living room with dining area has an open fire place, CD system and satellite television with UK channels, video and DVD player. An archway leads to the large modern fully fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, oven, gas hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, breakfast bar and stools. Fully equipped for preparing a large family meal. Indoor and outdoor dining tables can seat 10 + high chair, there are 8 dining chairs and 8 garden chairs to move for added flexibility. The garden has a covered terrace, grassed area, gas barbeque and 8x4 metre private swimming pool with 6 sun loungers.

Unfortunately, whilst on holiday at Villa Jansara from 1 August 2009 to 15 August 2009, there were major problems with the generator which supplied power and water to the Villa. At one point, we were without both for over 14 hours and with 8 people staying at the house (including 4 children) this was not ideal. Andreas was fantastic but much of the food in the fridge had to be thrown out and we were unable to use the toilets. The problem was eventually solved until 2 days before leaving when the fuel ran out for the generator and we were again without power and water for 9 hours. Since returning, I have tried on 3 separate occasions to contact Sarah but she has not replied to any of my communications.

In addition, the villa is described as being in a quiet location but we were all woken up constantly by dogs barking very loudly and also from parties going on at the houses around until 5 or even 6 am. As the villa is not air-conditioned, we found it necessary to have the windows open and hence the noise was extremely loud.

Additionally, the chemicals used to clean the pool turned swimming costumes luminous green and ruined these.

I feel unable to recommend this Villa to anyone who is considering a holiday there which is a shame as it was well equipped and clean.
