Photos and Description of this Ventnor holiday apartment A self catering flat set in an idyllic beach front setting with local ammenties.

This ground floor flat is set within a Victorian villa situated at Bonchurch Beach, and just a stones throw from the sea. The flat has gas central heating, and comprises of 1 large bedroom, which has the capacity to sleep 3 people; there is a double and single bed. Adjacent to the hallway ia a separate shower room, with hand basin and toilet. Bed linen and towels are not provided unless requested at a small extra charge. There is a spacious sitting room with two sofas, television, dining table, with a sun lounge and a wonderful view out to sea. The Kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and all necessary crockery and utensils. There is a lovely private patio area that overlooks the sea, with garden furniture provided. A private car parking space is allocated. No smoking preferred, and we can only accept dogs by special arrangement. Occupation is Friday to Friday from 2 pm on day of arrival until 10.am on the day of departure.

Bonchurch is a small charismatic village with undulating narrow streets and varied scenery. There is a post office, village pond, the Pond Café, and the Bonchurch Inn all within a 15 minute walk. There are many other cafes, restaurants, and traditional pubs set within the surrounding villages of Ventnor and Shanklin. There is easy access to great walking along the flat esplanade to Ventnor, and to Bonchurch Down where more challenging hill walks with picturesque views can be experienced. Further South Wight coastal path routes also offer opportunities to explore this Lovely Island and historical interests. There are also many children's attractions available on the Island. The beach is made up of shingle and sand, and set within a quiet location; perfect for relaxing and whiling away the hours swimming and sunbathing. At low tide the rock pools provide opportunities to explore.

We spent a wonderful week here in September. The flat is very spacious, the views are wonderful and the area is lovely and peaceful.
The owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and we hope to return soon!

Excellent property well appointed and spacious with wonderful views.It is an ideal base for visiting the Island, The owners Jan and Dave go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
This was our first stay at this property but will come again ,hopefully later in the year.
There are many first class places to eat and we thought the prices were very reasonable.We would recommend The New Inn in Shalfleet,The Ocean Blue by the harbour in Ventnor and The Bonchurch Inn is a must.

An excellent holiday flat riight next to the sea. We have been going to this flat for at least the last 5 years, our son also has used this flat. It is well appointed, well maintained, clean and welcoming.Very good for walks along the sea front to Ventnor, or walking to the village of Bonchurch with its famous pond and old church. I would recommend this to my friends, in fact I have done so. We have two holdays booked there for 2009, one in the spring and our usual two weeks in October.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
