Bonchurch is a small charismatic village with undulating narrow streets and varied scenery. There is a post office, village pond, the Pond Café, and the Bonchurch Inn all within a 15 minute walk. There are many other cafes, restaurants, and traditional pubs set within the surrounding villages of Ventnor and Shanklin. There is easy access to great walking along the flat esplanade to Ventnor, and to Bonchurch Down where more challenging hill walks with picturesque views can be experienced. Further South Wight coastal path routes also offer opportunities to explore this Lovely Island and historical interests. There are also many children's attractions available on the Island.
The beach is made up of shingle and sand, and set within a quiet location; perfect for relaxing and whiling away the hours swimming and sunbathing. At low tide the rock pools provide opportunities to explore.
