EL GOUNA: This is a man made resort which has blossomed from the desert 20km north of Hurghada on the shores of the Red Sea into a holiday paradise which can satisfy the needs of those holidaymakers looking for activities or a relaxing time in the sun. With sun all year round it is ideal for water sports of which there are many to choose from. With the coral reefs of the Red Sea being the finest around diving rates very highly on the list. The PGA Golf course is also a popular reason for visiting El Gouna but the weather, people and atmosphere are top of the list. If you are a history fan and you stay long enough, a trip to Cairo or Luxor is possible. These can be arranged prior your visit or when you arrive

Flight time is a reasonable 5 hours well worth it for the weather you will receive, sunshine everyday. Car rentals are available but unnecessary as the bus service is cheap and excellent (weekly unlimited ticket within town £1.50), tok-tok available at 50p per person and taxis available at £1.50 per taxi anywhere in town.
