Spacious villa with heated private pool in quiet neighbourhood but close to the historic town of Agde with shops restaurants and a host of holiday facilities. Located between Agde and le Grau D'Agde it is ideally located for easy access to both the town and the beaches. The private 8m x 4m pool is a sun trap and the villa has a sunbathing terrace adjacent to the pool and a further dining terrace with dining table seating 8. There is an outside table tennis table, bar and barbecue. The villa has a host of modern facilities and equipment including UK satellite TV, free WiFi internet access, music centre with mp3 facility , DVD, VHS player and LCD TV making it ideal for families with teenagers. The master bedroom is air-conditioned with fans located in all other bedrooms. 6 Sun loungers with cushions are provided for use by guests

Stayed here in late May 2009. The kids loved the heated pool and many an evening was spent using the brick built BBQ while they swam. The pool is behind locked gates as well for those with young children.

Villa itself is excellent. Sky came in useful occasionally and the kitchen, bathrooms etc. are all clean and tidy.

As a location, a walk along the canal into Agde takes 15 minutes, and there are 7 floating restaurants and numerous bars and cafes. There's also a train station if you don't have a car.

We did hire a car and the beach was less then 10 minutes away, and we also used it as a base for visiting Carcassonne, Pont du Gar etc.

All in all, a superb villa in a great location

We were delighted to find this property close enough to the beach by bike ( if you bring yours) or by car, and close to shops, hypermarket and chemist! and close to the picturesque town of Agde. Plenty to see; lovely, family-friendly beach at the Grau d'Agde.
The property matches its description perfectly: comfortable, spacious for 5 or 6, very clean and great facilities with the pool, barbecue, Sky connection for the odd stormy afternoon.
The owners were very efficient and reliable at every stage of the booking procedure.
Quiet location, residential among locals.
We are extremely pleased with our holiday and feel we owe Shirley to write this review.

I would recommend this property - as the other review says it matched the description on this website. The pool is a great size with good barrier to pool which gives reassurance if you have kids. The villa is very roomy. All the facilities are clean & modern. The booking process was no problem & got the keys in advance so no worries on turning up. The villa is in a residential neighbourhood with a 15 min (ish) walk along the canal to the town centre & restaurants. Agde very well situated for exploring the region - although we found it very easy to spend all day by the pool & enjoying the sun! We had a good holiday here.

Make sure you have a map of Agde before you arrive - we got very lost trying to find the villa!

After all those hours of looking at hundreds of villas,you can only hope that what it says...... is what it is !
If this is your chosen area then book it now.
Everything was spot on & we had one of our best holidays ever.The villa immmmediately felt like home & we looked forward everyday to returning to it after another hard day at the beach or restaurant.
It really ticked all the boxes,clean,modern,well equipped(mostly new & unused) & if you want to have all of your meals in the sun ,then you really can follow the sun around the house until the final drinks at sunset.
Add to this that owner Shirley is a very nice person to deal with (efficient too,deposit back super fast) & you will understand why I am enjoying the oppotunity of writing this review as a heartfelt thank you.
