The most popular must be the lovers Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliffe penned by Emily Bronte. Charlotte Bronte created Jane Eyre, 'The Railway Children' was partly filmed in Haworths cobbled main street and even Jeremy Brett's 'Sherlock Holmes' ventured onto nearby Oakworth station.
