Sophia Heights is a first floor apartment set in the tranquil area of Ayios Elias, here you can find the famous church of Profitas Elias high up on the hill which looks spectacular at night when lit up and can be seen for miles around. The property is approx. 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk into Protaras Centre, which offers a numerous choice of shops, restaurants and bars and a 15 minutes walk to one of the best beaches in Cyprus, the famous Fig Tree Bay, a glorious stretch of golden sands. This air conditioned apartment can sleep up to 5 and comprises of an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. From the balcony and main bedroom there are views across the communal pool to the sea and to the front of the property there is a parking area for 1-2 cars. Cyprus is a romantic island with something for everyone and whether it be a quiet relaxing family holiday or romantic break for two you are seeking, this apartment is an ideal self-catering base.

Protaras is on the South East Coast of the island situated between Cape Greco and the town of Paralimni. A car is not essential as it is only a 10 min walk to the centre of Protaras which offers a numerous choice of shops, tavernas, restaurants and bars. For those of you looking for something a little livelier the busy resort of Ayia Napa is only 10 mins drive away. Taxis are available in Protaras Centre for a minimum charge. Protaras centre offers all the amenities of a local town including numerous supermarkets, banks and shops all within walking distance. There is also a tourist information centre which offers not only an abundance of information about the places of interest in the local area but also the rest of Cyprus which has a wealth of fascinating history and archaeological treasures.

There is a 10% discount on offer for Early Bird bookings made 365 days in advance.
There are also Long Let booking discounts, 10% for 21 days, 15% for 28 days.

This is a non-smoking property (smoking outside only) and we are unable to accept bookings for single sex groups, our apartment caters for families or couples only.
Changeover day is flexible.
If a new arrival is due on your departure date then please be prepared to leave the apartment by 12 noon to allow enough time to have the apartment cleaned for the new arrival. If there is no new arrival due then arrangements can be made for a later departure time that is more suitable.

A booking form will be supplied and a 20% non refundable deposit is required.
The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure together with a fully refundable (providing no damage during your stay) £100 security deposit. The security deposit or balance of, whichever is applicable, will be refunded within 10 days of your return.
Cancellation refunds are as follows:
Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge /
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded /
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded /
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

| Notes: | The Lounge, Dining area has adequate seating for 5. For your entertainment a TV, DVD player and Radio/CD player are provided, along with a selection Cd's, DVDs, books and games. The kitchen is fully equipped with Hob, Oven, Microwave, Fridge (with freezer box), Kettle and Toaster together with adequate Cutlery, Cooking Utensils, Glassware and Crockery. There is also a Washing Machine, Iron, Ironing Board and Air er. Towels/bed linen are provided; please bring your own beach towels. All living and sleeping areas have air conditioning (cooling/heating), the Main Bedroom and Lounge also have ceiling fans. The blinds in the Lounge and Main Bedroom are sun/heat reflective and together with the tiled floors and neutral walls throughout the apartment provide a cool environment. The Balcony, which overlooks the communal pool, can be accessed from the Lounge area where you will find overhead and side awnings (for shade from the midday sun) together with a patio table and chairs. |
Coast/Beach
It is a 15 min walk to one of the best beaches in Cyprus, the famous Fig Tree Bay, a glorious stretch of golden sands. Whilst the gentle surf and crystal clear waters here are ideal for children there is also numerous water sports on offer including paragliding, jet skis, water skiing, speed boat hire and boat trips. For those a little bit more adventurous there is excellent Scuba diving around the rocky coves of the nearby Cape Greco peninsula.
Travel
The nearest airport is Larnaca and is approx 40 mins drive from Protaras. Car hire is not essential - taxis can be arranged if required. We can also offer competitive prices for off-airport parking, to include airport drops and pick ups, if travelling from Luton Airport in the UK - please request details at point of enquiry.
