The villa has 1 double bedroom with en suite & a/c, 1 twin bedroom with a/c & 1 twin bedroom with a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a bath, walk in shower, double washbasins, hair dryer & is situated between the 2 twin rooms. There is a utility room with sink, washing machine & tumble dryer. Lounge/diner has 2 ceiling fans ,TV, satellite, DVD player & three double doors opening onto the terraces. The kitchen has a cooker, hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave & dishwasher. On the undercover terrace there is a table & chairs & gas barbecue with steps leading down to the pool (8x4) & loungers. From the pool, steps lead down to the garden. The nearest beach is approx. 5 kms but there are many different beaches, towns & villages to explore & if you feel energetic there are many sports facilities available nearby. There are restaurants & bars in the medieval village of Calonge but nearby you have Palamos & Platja de Aro which are quite lively with lots of choice .

This comfortable villa is set in the small development of Puig Rosell in an elevated position with views of the sea & hills & just outside the village of Calonge with its Medieval Castle, shops ,supermarkets & restaurants. The fabulous beach of St Antoni is just 5km away with the nearby towns of Palamos & Platja de Aro which also have long sandy beaches & plenty of nightlife to offer. There are many small towns on the coast with lovely bays, La Franc, Calella de Palafrugell, S'agaro & Sant Feliu de Guixols and many more. The Dali Museum is at Figueres which is worth a visit. Barcelona is on your doorstep with Girona 40 mins away. Two very different cities to explore. Tennis & golf courses & lots of other sporting facilities are available nearby. Whether it's beaches, bars,restaurants, sports, culture, sightseeing, shopping, markets & skiing in the winter months, Catalonia has it all. Relaxation, action, or a bit of both, for you to decide.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Terms and conditions:- The rental price includes all gas, electricity and water, provision of bed linen and towels. Bed linen & towels are changed once a week on a 2 week booking & there will be a small extra charge for any additional changes required. Also included in the price if you wish is a meet and greet where someone will show you to and round the villa when you arrive. There is no smoking inside the villa.
  • Deposits:- A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure each booking, with the final balance to be paid 8 weeks before holiday start date. Please make cheques payable to Mrs E. Spratley. A breakage/security deposit of £250 is required, to be paid with the final balance. This deposit will be refunded to you, less any breakage costs, within 14 days of the end-date of the holiday.
    We would advise you to take out holiday insurance to cover cancellations as we cannot provide any refund once the final balance has been paid.
  • Arrival day :- After 4pm
    Departure day :- Before 10am
    Changeover day is normally Friday, but we may be able to be flexible on bookings depending on availability.

Notes: The villa is fully fitted out to the highest standards for your comfort and to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday. Loungers and sun umbrellas are provided for use around the pool and there is an outside shower. For outside dining there is a table with eight chairs and a movable gas BBQ is located on the undercover terrace close to the dining area. Linen and towels are provided for the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. An extra change of linen can be requested at an extra charge. We can also arrange a meet and greet service. There is no smoking in the villa.

We had a lovely holiday in September 09. The villa is spacious, light, airy and tastfully furnished. Three really good size bedrooms with one ensuite. The living room leads onto a lovely veranda through three windowed doors each with shutters where it is perfect to eat. The villa is maintained to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. The large garden includes a swimming pool and gas BBQ. It was all just perfect and we want to go again.

Superb villa in a great location

Our stay in August 2009 was great. The villa was as described - very well appointed, spotlessly clean and well maintained in every way. The interior was comfortable with an excellent kitchen, lounge with large TV, bedrooms with air-con; exterior had a shaded balcony, barbeque area, lots of patio furniture and a lovely clean pool. Easy access (by car) to village with shops and supermarkets, and nearby beaches. Great view of wooded hillsides and sea from balcony, and a quiet peaceful location. Highly recommended.

Excellent villa, very clean and well equipped. Lovely outside space around the pool, again with plenty of sun loungers.Quiet location with beautiful views down to the coast. Well located for day trips to the many near beaches on the Costa Brava.
