Picturesque Provencal Village Apartment

Villecroze is a very pretty village with magnificent views surrounded by award winning vineyards.It has the perfect location - 45 minutes drive from the nearest beaches, 55 minutes from the glitz and glamour of St.Tropez and yet for those who prefer a peaceful life - just walk around the old village, have a coffee or a chilled glass of wine in the village square.Lake St.Croix and the Gorge du Verdon are 20 minutes drive away with spectacular scenery,electric and pedal boats,kayaks,swimming or a relaxing picnic.Nice and Marseille airports are both approximately 1 hour 20 minutes drive from the village of Villecroze.Junction 36 on the A.8 motorway is 20 minutes drive from the village.This one bedroomed apartment is centrally situated. giving a view of the village life with it's 800 (approx) inhabitants. Villecroze village has 5 restaurants,two bars, boulangerie with a wide range of freshly baked bread of different types and lots of delicious cakes too. Also other small shops.

Villecroze is set amongst a background of gurgling fountains and winding lanes with many olive groves.It is surrounded by other very pretty and interesting villages, i.e. Aups, Salernes, Lorgues, Contignac and Tourtour. The largest nearest town is Draguignan - 20 minutes drive - with larger supermarkets and outdoor markets too.. Within a 45 minute drive you can also explore the beaches and restaurants of the Cote D'Azur, with superb shops in Cannes,Nice,Antibes etc.If you like to explore the village markets, there are lots available in the nearby villages on different days of the week. The village of Salernes (5 minutes drive) is world famous for its ceramic industry and has shops selling magnificent tiles and lavastone worktops for kitchen and bathrooms in a huge range of bright provencal colours. There are golf courses within 30 minutes drive approximately. The village has two modern clay tennis courts and the area is widely used by walkers and cyclists.

Cleaning of the apartment is included in the price on your departure but we ask that you leave the apartment in a clean and tidy state. Bed linen and towels are provided in the rental price.
  • The apartment can be rented on a flexible basis depending on the time of year.
