Charentaise stone house 300yrs old in quiet village with bar and bread shop in adjoining village. Bread/butcher/fish vans visit village.supermarket 4km away, numerous local produce markets. Open air pool in Courcon (10min drive) in July and Aug.La Rochelle and Ile de Re 30 mins drive. Several sandy beaches 30-40min drive. On edge of Venise Vert. Property recently renovated very comfortable, tiled floors thick stone walls make it cool inside while hot outside. Electric heaters in all rooms. Many interesting days out for all the family close by or relax in the garden while the children play.

Excellent zoo in Royan, superb Aquarium in La Rochelle.Sea front restaurants in Chatelaillon-plage. Waterside restaurants in Coulon and Arcais.Boat trips to islands eg Ile d Aix. Fossil hunting on Ile Madame. Relax in peaceful enclosed garden with sandpit, swings and BBQ.

A well-equipped property, with spacious bedrooms and a nice garden.

In a quiet rural location, about 25 minutes drive to La Rochelle and the nearest beaches.
