This modern spacious 2 bedroom air conditioned villa has all you need for an idyllic luxury vacation, complete with panoramic views overlooking Vlycha bay & the surrounding hills.The villa is in a slightly elevated position, and is tastefully furnished throughout. It comprises of 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom affords a balcony with fantastic panoramic views, the second bedroom having 2 single beds. There is an upstairs modern bathroom plus a toilet/cloaks on the ground floor. A fully fitted kitchen leads into a specious lounge/dining area. There are French doors at the front of the lounge leading out onto a large terrace. Access to a lovely tiled terraced area which leads into the infinity styled outside private pool is via the kitchen door. The villa stands in a large garden area containing a variety of tropical plants. There is outside furniture for relaxing and soaking up the sun, plus plenty of terrace area for an alfresco BBQ. An ideal setting for your perfect holiday.

Kalathos is located in the southeast Lindos area of Rhodes with views of Vylcha bay across to Haraki castle, it is a 10 minute walk to the local village where you will find several taverners, a quality bakers, superb butchers, pharmacy, hairdressers, plus a couple of supermarkets which stock a good range of goods. Car hire is readily available and a short 5 minute journey will bring you to the neighbouring picturesque resort of Lindos which sits on a hillside overlooking the Acropolis. Within easy reach you will also find the resort of Lardos which is a friendly resort with a traditional Greek village, plus Pefcos which is an old fishing village and has an excellent array of traditional bars and taverns. The sandy beach offers a variety of water sports. There is a Water Park at Falaraki and a well maintained Golf course at Afandou. Rhodes town is where you will find the historic medieval old town full of historical culture and monuments together with a fabulous port and yachts.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Flights to Rhodes from the UK are usually Wednesdays and Saturdays. Reservations can be held for up to 3 days to allow for the booking of flights. A deposit of 20% is required to secure a booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer, full acknowledgement of monies paid will be given. The villa can be occupied from 3.00pm on the day of arrival, all guests must vacate the villa by 11.00am on the day of departure, this is necessary to allow for cleaning of the villa before the next guests arrive, however this may be flexible with prior arrangements. Car hire and Taxis can be booked from the airport, the taxi fare to the villa is approximately 40 Euros.
  • Sorry no all male or female groups. There will be a security charge of 200 Pounds, this will be refundable on you return following inspection of the villa. All prices include air conditioning, and use of electricity.

This was our first villa holiday and we were not dissapointed with the villa we chose. The villa is very well kept and contains everything that you need. We also found that it was bigger than we expected.
Anna finds nothing too much trouble, but at the same time never seems to disrupt your holiday. The villa is in a peaceful location, so spending time around the pool is great fun.
The welcome pack was VERY WELCOME.
We used a butcher in nearby Lardos to buy meat from to enjoy BBQ's on an evening. The BBQ area is very nice and gets the evening sun to enjoy relaxing whist eating and enjoying a cool beer or glass of wine.
I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting to come to kalathos for a holiday.

An easily organised holiday, good communication via email with Anna and handover of keys for villa, which had been stocked with all the essentials (and some luxuries!). The villa was as described and Anna gave us a few pointers about places to visit, taxi driver to use etc. My only disappointment was the garden (huge but unfinished) but in no way did it detract from a lovely stay - and Anna did say to ignore the weeds!

wonderful off-season experience; comfortable house

My husband and I - in our 40s - spent an early easter holiday in April 2009 here. It was a wonderful experience. The house and garden is even more beautiful as shown on the pictures. Large garden, outside BBQ (though we didn't use it, evenings were still fresh in early April) - relaxing outside is just perfect; also due to the swimmingpool which Anna filled especially for us (though it was off-season). Very nice owners who live nearby. On a raining day Anna showed up with a heap of DVDs in case we would get bored by the rain. Very sweet. Fridge was filled with "first-aid-food-and-wine" when we arrived which was a relief for us after a long traveling day. Quiet and relaxed area - not so "touristy" I might say (though nearby Lindos is very crowded -even in off-season April), and there are people who live here all year long which makes the neighbourhood more "normal" - it is not a tourist enclave. Definitely we will come again!
