Pezenas holiday apartment

We are now back in Australia and we wanted to say 'thank you' for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment. We just loved it. I hope everything was in order when we left.

Pezenas itself was fantastic, but the added bonus (and the highlight of our trip) was the apartment. Very roomy, clean comfortable - and so stylish !

Thanks again - would love to return one day.

Arriving after dark on a rainy evening, we couldn't have known what a treasure was behind the ancient walls. The apartment was wonderful! Amanda and Tim clearly love this place. Huge windows let light in and the sounds of the day... church bells, the occasional passer-by... the apartment was comfortable and had the amenities needed to make the vacation almost effortless. There was a computer, internet, telephone, movies, washer, heat, great hot water, shower, 2 tubs, 3 bedrooms... The apartment was centrally located and parking was within easy walking distance. Pezenas was gorgeous, a little sleepy during our pre-Easter week, but that simply meant less tourists. In Pezenas: We had an exquisite evening meal at Entre Pots - beautiful and delicious. A mouthwatering (ample slice of) quiche and salad for lunch at the cozy Salon de The St Jean. Julia's organic cakes at the Marche de Bio on Saturday. Out of town: We loved our day in Collioure. The town of Olargues was magical (have lunch or dessert on the terrace of Les Fleurs D'Olargues on a sunny day - you won't forget it). The Abbaye de Valmagne was beautiful... there were many wonderful places to visit nearby and the apartment was a perfect home to return to at the end of a long day. Amanda and Tim were very responsive by email to our many questions before our arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

What a wonderful holiday we have spent in Pezenas in your delightful apartment! Thank you so much for leaving us the computer as well, as it has been a godsend for emailing family and researching places to go. Not to mention the bottle of rose – such a happy surprise.

We absolutely adore the apartment – everything about it! Our beds were so comfortable, and the doonahs so light and snugly. We slept like babies. Our breakfast ritual each morning overlooking the courtyard with fresh Pezenas bread and coffee out of the two little Limoges cups was a memory we will treasure. The coffee machine was a great hit, thank you so much for that!

Your restaurant recommendations were great – we loved Les Palmiers, Le Vieux Coq, l’Entrepot, Bar Cinq, and the Vin Bar in the main street. And if we could return for anything each Saturday it would be the canard aux olives at the markets. What a heavenly meal!
