As an example, all windows/patio doors are made of a non reflecting glass which means that the sun is reflected in the summer. This, together with the use of natural flooring throughout, means that the villa stays very cool in summer but retains its heat during the summer. For more information, please contact me. There are numerous eating areas in the gardens/grounds and inside, additional patio areas, and courtyard which makes the villa perfect for sun lovers or those seeking shade during the hot season. The kitchen has a dining table for eight, as does the galleried dining room and there is further outside dining with a barbeque. Additional maid/cook services are available on request incuding new for 2009, a visiting 'top chef' meal service. For golfers, a 20% discount off normal golf fees is offered at nearby Boavista.

Beaches and water sports: With views out to the sea, Casa Montaza makes combining a holiday with total privacy and beach life easy as the nearest beach is an easy 5-10 minute walk.

Restaurants : With Lagos, with its Marina and bustling town, just a 15 minute walk, there are numerous restaurant within easy walking distance. There is also a famous Chinese restaurant just a five minute walk away. NEW FOR 2009: If you prefer to dine at home, enjoy the stunning views, but not have the hassle of shopping, preparing and clearing up, then why not enquire about my 'top chef' dinner where one of Lagos' top chefs comes and cooks for you and your party at Casa Montaza - rates are very reasonable and perfect for that special occasion!

Golf: The Championship golf course of Palmares (boasting the longest par 5 in Europe) and with half the course running alongside the shoreline, can be seen in the distance from the villa and is just a few minutes' drive. Boavista, again a Championship golf course boasting superb views over the countryside and to the sea, is about a 10 minute drive and as a special service for guests at Casa Montaza, a 20% discount on normal golf fees is offered.

We had our honeymoon here (with a few friends) and it was just stunning ... the villa was superb, the owner organised activities for us (including a special n ight when a top chef came into cook for us followed by a band and party round the pool) and the whole time here was just magical ... cannot be bettered in our view
