The villa has spacious light rooms and all mod.cons, internet access, spacious terraces to dine out on watching the sun set over the mountains and the light change over the waters of the lake, where you can swim, fish or use our two canoes. There is a table tennis table, archery, badminton, croquet. It also makes a wonderful base from which to explore Tuscany, follow the Piero della Francesca trail to Arezzo; gaze with awe on Michelangelo's David in Florence; climb to the top of the Campanile in Sienna; buy scrumptious fresh local food in nearby markets or visit the numerous excellent, reasonably priced, neighbourhood restaurants. There are wine tastings and designer outlets, walks and cycle rides and lazing by the pool.in peace and quiet. Delicious dinners can be supplied in house. In all, Casa Singerna is an idyllic spot for a vacation.

Casa Singerna is a quiet little hamlet, halfway between the medieval hilltop town of Anghiari and the village of Caprese Michelangelo, the birthplace of the titan of the renaissance. Also nearby is the town of Sansepolcro, birthplace of painter Piero della Francesca, and is well placed near the Tuscany/Umbria border for excursions to Florence, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Urbino, Arezzo, Cortona and Gubbio The villa has stunning views all round and is comprehensively furnished for 10 with a heated swimming pool 12m x 6m. It has two canoes to use on the lake and 6 bicycles, There is a table tennis table in the house, archery and badminton in the garden and riding facilities nearby. Cooking and babysitting services easily available. Excellent restaurants and local markets in the area, not to mention designer clothes outlets. An ideal vacation retreat.

Stayed in the lovely villa in September 2008. Fantastic location, very easy getting around from this home base. Nearby towns offer everything "Italian" you'd need/want. Will be coming back in the future.
