Villa El Horcajillois Cosy self-catering villa located inland Andalusia. This place is ideal for families, it has 5 bedrooms (3 double, 2 twin) 3 bathrooms, full equipped kitchen,sitting room with fireplace, big dinning-room, large terrace with pool, BBQ and parking area. The ground floor has a large cool lounge with stairs up. High ceilings, tiled floors, shuttered windows, and clever traditional design (with very thick stone walls) make this a comfortable house in the hot summer heat. In the winter the central heating and wood burning fireplace ensure an all year round comfortable experience. The hallway leads to a fully fitted modern kitchen next to an spacious dining room, and a charming sitting area with a typical fireplace and old wood-fired oven. The upper floors have four bedrooms, one have ensuite bathrooms, making 2 bathrooms in total. There is a big hall with a sofa, an excellent play area for children. This is an accessible house.

In the towns of Villanueva de Algaidas, Iznajar, Rute, Villanueva de Tapia, Archidona... you can find several bars and restaurants where you can discover the taste of typical recipes. In Iznajar is located the biggest lake of Andalusia, you can enjoy a day at its nice beach that overlooks olive groves. If you like hiking you can enjoy this activity in the Subbetica Natural Park. We also offer you cooking courses in the area.

Iznájar, a beautiful lakeside village is within 00 min drive. There is a sandy beach by the lake Iznájar, it is a perfect place to have a picnic or to enjoy water sports. Iznájar is a beautiful hilltop white washed village overlooking the lake and has many restaurants, bars and small shops. The farmhouse is located in rural Andalusia, yet it is easy to visit major touristic towns, such as the Costa del Sol, Granada, Cordoba, Malaga and Seville to do the historic sight-seeing. The farmhouse is surrounded by the superb panoramic views, very typical of rural Andalusia - hillsides carpeted with mature olive trees rolling gently across the horizon as far as the eye can reach, or glorious wooded area full of mature oaks where the sightings of Hoopoes and Green finches are very frequent.

Antequera, Priego de Cordoba, Lucena, Zuheros, Archidona, Rute... there are many historical villages where you can discover our Moorish, roman or archaeological heritage. All them only a short 20-30 min drive away from our villa. For more information, feel free to contact us.

Ski: Why not ski or have a day out to the stunning Sierra Nevada ! It is a hour's drive from our Finca.

Golf: Fabulous 5 star Antequera Golf is within easy reach from our Finca, approximately 30 min drive.
