The apartment has been professionally furnished and equipped to a very high standard and comprises a large sitting area with comfortable seating for six. There are balconies to front and back catching the morning and evening sun. Both balconies are equipped with suitable outside furniture. The accommodation comprises: large sitting room with dining table seating 6 master double bedroom with ensuite bathroom double and twin bedrooms sharing second bathroom cloakroom/wc off hall fully equipped kitchen with boiler giving constant hot water and central heating terraces front and back, with outside table and 6 chairs on main west-facing terrace overlooking the pool and 1st fairway There is a large shared pool (including small pool suitable for children) and garden. There is also a barbecue area. Sun loungers are provided with the apartment. All linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided for your stay and included in the rental price.

The 600 acre resort of Praia Del Rey is set within a region of outstanding cultural and historical importance, renowned for its windmills, rolling hills, majestic coastline of indented bays, golden beaches with breathtaking Atlantic rollers, wonderful seafood restaurants and delicious wines. A 10 minute drive away along a quiet coast route is the famous Obidos Lagoon, where windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing are available. Tuition and rental of boards etc. can be found at the sailing club on the far side of the lagoon. Surfing at Baleal and Peniche is only a 10 minute drive away. This is one of the most popular surfing destinations in Europe. Surf schools and hire shops are available

Excellent accomodation near Obidos

We spent a very pleasant and comfortable holiday in this location. The listing description was extremely accurate concerning facilities and layout but we had not imagined the spaciousness of the appatrment.We were three couples and we were all very pleasantly surprised at the space we had, even in the room with twin beds we were more than comfortable and did not get in each other's way with the two bathrooms and separate W.C. and a private terrace for each bedroom. The property was also tastefully furnished and clean and we very much appreciated finding basic food and drink ( including a bottle of local wine) in the fridge and cupboards on arrival.
We have already spoken favorably about this property to friends and family and would recommend a holiday there even if you are not a golfer.The presence of the golf course does ,of course, add to the tranquility of the location and the swimming pool which is just below the appartment is an added attraction. It is cleaned everyday and is accessible at any time and does not seem to generate noise. The communal outdoor barbecue was also appreciated.
This location was also very handy for sight-seeing but you do need a car to be able to visit the area and to do the shopping. We visited Obidos and the lagoon which is very beautiful where it joins the ocean and we had an excellent seafood meal at one of the many restaurants in Peniche.We also made excursions to: the Templar castle in Tomar, Fatima, Batalha and Nazaré as well as many small villages on the coastline.
