The holiday apartment is in the natural bay of Portoconte 12 kilometres from Alghero. Surrounded by pine-woods and Mediterranean maquis, abounding in lonely bays and creeks hiding soft beaches it's the ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming,fishing,sailing, windsurfing ,diving ,trekking, horse riding or just walking in the paths of the park. We had a relaxing week at Rita's lovely home, which was even better than described and pictured; beautifully clean and provided with everything one could want, with views of the bay from two of the three balconies. One of the beaches (ideal for children as the sea is calm in the bay and shallow for quite a way out) is ten minutes walking distance from the house, and there are lots of other delightful sandy beaches in the area, including the long Alghero beach, backed by pines and sand dunes. Rita speaks good English and is very helpful; she can point out interesting places to visit and events not to be missed. We particularly enjoyed the firework display in Alghero to mark the end of the tourist season.

Fantastic Apartment, Fabulous Area, Great Hostess

If I can see the sea from my bedroom, its got to be good, the apartment is sitting on a peninsula, we had the sea on either side, so doubly good. We are biased about Sardinia, particularly the top West coast because of its rural atmosphere, fabulous, coves and beaches, so much so we return year after year.
Maristella is lovely, just what you need for a complete rest, with the opportunity on your doorstep to do so much more, on foot or by car. The icing on the cake was to find this fantastic apartment, it is spotless, comfortable, well equipped but with a rarely found 'home' atmosphere, staying in watching the sunset from the balconies (yes - there are three !) was very relaxing.
An extremely helpful and charming Hostess - Rita, made the break a must to re-live another day, hopefully she won't get too booked up although we feel it was so good, many people will return!!!
There are not enough ******* to rate it.

Lovely apartment

We had a very pleasant week's holiday here. The apartment is very clean with new bathroom fttings and cool marble floors.The owner was very welcoming and speaks good English.

It is situated on a quiet road with good parking facilities. There is a very well-stocked mini market close by and a pizza restaurant, with beautiful views over the bay, within 5 minutes walk. There is a good pine- fringed beach within a few minutes drive which has a couple of cafes and plenty of shade.

Alghero is a lovely town with good restaurants and a huge beach alongside. There are also plenty of archeological sites to discover in the area.

The airport is about a ten minute easy drive away.

I would recommend this apartment highly.

The holiday apartment was very comfortable. The owner of the apartment welcomed us very well and she was very kind with us, she offered to us some maps and recommended some restaurants of Alghero. The apartment is totally new, the kitchen was tidy and new and the room is quite big so we were very satisfied. The location of the apartment is great because it´s near to Alghero but it´s in the surroundings which is great since you are disconnected but at the same time the apartment is near the town. But the greatest thing of the location is its lonely bays! We were driving around the island when finally we found out that the best bays were only 5 minutes from the apartment! To sum up, I totally recommend this apartment because of its location, because it´s quite big for two people but above all because of its owner, who provided a very good customer service and who was very kind with us. Our experience was great and we hope to repeat it again!

Great Holiday (Schöner Urlaub)

We only made great experience with the apartement, the oner and the surrounding. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Even the location has been a brilliant starting point to dicsover the West Coast of the island. The flat and its ambience is calm. It is also near to the lagune, which is clean and not far to reach. The hirer was even kindful and achieves all wishes for its leaser.

Wir verbrachten im August 2008 hier einen wundervollen Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Sie war auch sehr sauber und man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Lage ist optimal, sehr ruhig und direkt( ca. 5min Fußweg) an einem Sandstrand, der auch nicht überlaufen ist.
In 10Km Entfernung ist ein größerer Ort Alghero, wo man abends in der Altstadt schön schlendern kann.
Sonst sind in der näheren Umgebung auch viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und auch viele einsame Buchten zufinden.
Die Vermieterin war immer sehr freundlich und hat uns alle Wünsche erfüllt.
Wir können diese Ferienwohung nur weiterempfehlen.
