Large country house on 350 acres of private land

L'Ejumeau is a large, traditional 19th century farmhouse located between the Loire and Cher Valleys in the region with the largest concentration of Chateaux and other historic sites in France. It is available for holiday rental and is a self-catering facility although a cook to prepare delicious meals can be arranged. With its privacy and outdoor heated swimming pool it is an ideal spot for family reunions offering carp fishing, nature walks and biking paths along with wild life viewing of water fowl, deer and wild boar. It has a newly renovated kitchen, 6 bedrooms with four bathrooms and a large living room/dinning room with a fireplace. The house is within 5 miles of a shopping centre and located near a small village with its own chateau and 15th century chapel. There are many good restaurants and vineyards in the region. Neighbouring farms have cheese and seasonal fruits and vegetables for sale. There is also an herb and vegetable garden on-site for use by guests

Notes to the rental rates

  • This is a self-catered property but a cook can be arranged if desired. A security deposit of 1,000 Euros will be required upon arrival and will be returned at the moment of departure if there is no damage. A reservation can be made with a deposit of 750 Euros. The remaining amount is due upon arrival. A short term rental agreement is signed by both parties.
  • Reservations can be cancelled up to 4 weeks prior to arrival during the off season and 6 weeks prior to arrival during the high season. If this time limits are not respected the deposit will be forfeit.
