This three bedroom/2 bathroom villa can accomodate up to 6/8 people. Although also suited to smaller groups. The Villa is attractively furnished with added addition of plants, pictures etc to create a comfortable atmosphere and has everything you need to make an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The very large lounge has three patio doors leading onto the balconies with sea views and patio furniture. The large kitchen has a large selection of utensils. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridgefreezer and cooker. One double bedroom en suite with patio door to garden. Two Twin bedded rooms with sofa beds and both with patio doors to garden The pretty garden has shaded areas if required, a BBQ and patio furniture and sunloungers.

The area offers a widespread variety of activities from surfing to golf. From watersplash parks to Roman sites. To areas of flowers and fauna. Praia da Luz is a lovely family resort, The beach is a safe sandy bay with rock pools at one end. Voted the best beach on the Algarve for children. A pedestrian only attractive esplanade with a few small shops. There are watersports on the beach and lots of excellent restaurants close at hand. There is a good family run supermarket that offers large range of products and excellent fresh meat and vegetables. Also a fishmarket. Lagos is only 4 km away which is a 15th century town with a large marina, abundance of restaurants and lots of activities including paragliding. boat trips etc. There are also many secluded beaches closeby which are great for surfing. Most beaches do have excellent restaurants. Lots of walking areas from the villa or a short drive away. Many interesting places to visit whether historic or areas of beauty.

  • All bedrooms have patio doors leading onto garden. There is a cot if required. One bedroom is en suite The front bedroom is ideal for children as it is large and also accommodates a sofa bed to take two extra children if required. The rear bedroom also has a single sofa bed. There are electric blankets on all the beds for the cooler months i.e from October - March. The bedrooms are all situated on the ground floor as it is cooler in the summer months for sleeping. all bedrooms have fans and the patio doors have secure wrought iron shutters to enable the windows to be left open if required. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished.

The Villa: The villa is the owners own holiday home. We keep everything to a high standard and offer an attractive holiday home to our visitors who we hope will enjoy it as much as we do. It is not a bland holiday let but is furnished with plants, pictures, etc to make you feel in a home from home atmosphere. For those who enjoy cooking there is a large selections of utensils in the kitchen, plus a food processor etc. There are shady areas to sit in the garden plus of course sunny spots for the sun worshippers. The garden has a lemon and orange tree plus a selection of colourful plants and shrubs. The villa is suitable for children and has a stairgate at the top of the stairs for younger children.

The area: It is a lovely area offering you the choice of the more lively night-life of Lagos with its boutiques and pavement cafes and street performers. Or Luz itself with a good selection of restaurants, safe beaches - a real family resort. Or the rural areas offering still beautiful beaches of sand but more rugged scenery and lots of good surf. Or the fishing villages. You can travel a little inland up to Monchique in the mountains or just take a small road through the countryside.

Sports: There are golf courses nearby. Fishing excursions. Tennis courts and squash courts. Surfing, ski-ing watersplash parks. Horseriding etc.

Lovely, relaxing family holiday

We stayed here in Sept with our 3 and 2 year old and had a lovely time. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac of just five houses off the road into Luz and has a garden full of flowers and bourgonvillia climbing the balcony. The pool was larger than we expected from reading other reviews and the mixture of sun and shade in the well-tended garden was perfect for our small children and us sun worshipers!

The house itself was cool and airy and had lots of quirky decor which really made you feel that you were in a home not just a holiday house. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack of bread, butter, milk and eggs was well received by us weary travellers. The owners have thought of everything, supplying beach towels and a pushchair so we travelled suprisingly light.

If there was a downside, then it was that, with small children, the walk to the beach at Luz and its restaurants was just a tad too far (probably 20 minute walk) so we used the hire car a lot - the good thing was that having a car, we explored a lot of the coastline and found a lovely sandy beach a short 10 minute drive away which was perfect for us.

All in all a lovely family holiday. Many thanks!

Excellent Villa and Pool

The layout of the villa was good as the bedrooms are downstairs but a little awkard to get out to the pool as you had to go out either through the bedrooms or out the front door. Upstairs was a larger living area and kitchen which was kitted out very well. Also received a welcome pack which included tea, butter, milk. Pool was excellent for the children but rather to many plants to get a good sunbathing spot as you kept having to move around - lots of shade. The location of the villa was brilliant. Very quiet cul de sac but within a 15 min walk to the beaches and restuarants in Luz (uphill on the way back). In the other direction there are some fantastic beachs at Salema and Burgau which are ten minutes drive away. I would recommend this to a family. Had a good night out at Luz fort - worth booking.

First Visit to Portugal

This was our first visit to Portugal so we weren't quite sure what to expect. But what a delight it was as we turned into the quiet cul de sac and saw the Villa. Everything was as described online; just as in the pictures. Inside it was very welcoming, clean and bright. The rooms are all tastefully decorated and have a very cosy feel about them. This Villa is a home ,not a barely furnished, holiday let. The garden is well maintained with an ample supply of chairs to relax in. We never used the pool as it was early April but it looked very clean and inviting. As for the kitchen and bathrooms, everything was immaculate.

We enjoyed walking into the village and frequented many of the restaurants. A car is useful for further exploring of the country. We will certainly put it on our list of Holidays to return to.

Great holiday villa

This was our first holiday on the Algarve and we couldn't have chosen a better spot. In a quiet cul- de- sac , it is ideally situated for sightseeing along the coast as well as exploring the many inland villages and towns . There are plenty of good but inexpensive restaurants nearby ; the fresh fish restaurants soon became firm favourites . The villa itself is immaculately clean , roomy well furnished and well equipped . The garden and pool was an added bonus . We have recommeded it to friends and will be staying here again the next time we visit the Alagarve.

Idyllic spot for Algarve holiday

The villa is at least as good as described, probably better. Living accomodation on the upper floor with cool marble floors and a delightful balcony for breakfast and peaceful, spacious sleeping accomodation below at garden level. Decor is lavish and stylish throughout and well-equipped for eating in or just being lazy.
Outside is an oppulently planted garden and a small, but very usable pool.
The standard of cleanliness and service could not be faulted.
The immediate location is a quiet cul-de-sac, yet one can easily reach pretty Praia de Luz which has good beaches, shops and restaurants or travel easily to every other part of the Algarve.
I would classify this as a very superior property and would recommend it without hesitation for guests of all ages, with or without children, and of varied tastes.
