WATER ACTIVITIES:
SAILING-with Canary Sail is the local sailing school providing RYA training, inter-island mileage cruises, charter and, subject to availability, 2 and 3 day RYA 'Start Yachting' courses.
SPORT FISHING-In season. This boat provides some of the best days out with deep water fishing nearby.
SNORKELING/DIVING-'Diveart' teaches snorkelling and sub-aqua diving in the local waters around the bay of San Sebastian.
WHALE/DOLPHIN WATCHING-Just a short ferry ride from San Sebastian to Vueltas, on the west side of La Gomera, excursions are available on 'Tina'.
CLUB NAUTICA-A beautiful setting for swimming, sauna, tennis, basketball, or just a relax at the pool or in the Restaurant of this very sheltered private club (nominal fee).
BEACHES-San Sebastian has two beaches. One is provided in the shelter of the harbour and marina. The other is near Club Nautica and although more exposed to the open sea, offers a good, quiet beach with views across to Tenerife.
MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES:
WALKING-The Garajonay National Park provides some of the best hiking through rain forest anywhere in Europe. Whether guided walks or self organised, we can assist with your needs.
CYCLING-Normal mountain bikes are available for hire at the marina office in San Sebastian.
There are also Highspec mountain bikes available for guided tours (with or without bus support!) or self organised treks.
Should you have interest in any of the above mentioned activities we advise that you plan ahead and inform us soonest.
AMENITIES:
Nursery/activity centre- for toddlers from 1 year old and children. Safe, supervised indoor playground allows parents to have free time in town.
Please note that the local modern 'Hypertrebol' Supermarket is within 2 mins. walk of your apartment. The market is also located in this immediate area offering local produce and on Wednesdays and Saturdays hand crafted wares.
Beach, restaurants and main Plaza are all within 5 mins. walk.
Golf:
Golf is also available on the 18 hole, Tecina Golf Course close to Playa Santiago on the south side of the island.
