Cannes and its surrounding areas together with the hill top villages are a must be explored. The Lerins islands a short ferry ride from the harbour in Cannes are intriguing and the children adore the adventure of the boat trip. During the summer the centre of Cannes is alive with activity catering for all children will love the street entertainers and the little train to take you for a guided tour. A trip to Menton or even a little further over the border into Italy are closer than you may think and worth a visit. Nice offers so much history to see and you can spend an evening wandering the tree lined streets visiting cafes and enjoying a glass of wine whilst the word passes by.

The villa offers an unrivalled location for those wishing to explore the delights of Cannes and its surrounding areas the hill top villages that must be explored including the stunning village of Mougins is within a 10 minute drive offering the visitor an array of delights both gastronomic and historic, a coffee overlooking the vista is a must. The Lerins islands a short ferry ride from the harbour in Cannes are intriguing and the children adore the adventure of the boat trip. For the Golfers amongst you there are over 20 courses to be tested.

The TGV train provides access to all of the towns along the coast alleviating the need for a car. Italy is just 40 minutes away by train and the mountains for walking or skiing in the winter are only an hours drive away by bus, it is amazing to ski in the morning and enjoy a glass of wine in the early evening back on the terrace just enjoying the stunning view. The Villa is set alongside the Croix de Guards park a protected area of natural beauty and having private access to the park it is possible to cycle the tracks, keep in shape along the fitness trail or simply picnic, walk or just enjoy the stunning views across the bay of Cannes. During the summer months the firework displays in Cannes harbour are spectacular from this area.
