The Golf club DOMAINE DE TERRE BLANCHE : This Golf Club is considered to be one of the most prestigious in the world and is only 10 minute drive away at the FOUR SEASONS RESORT. Why not drop in for some wine tasting on route at one of the many Chateau vineyards. There are several other golf courses in the area and for those that do not golf pop in for a SPA or Aquaroma.

SKI on the piste at ISOLA, VALBERG, AURON: There are numerous Ski stations in the Alpes- Maritimes, Auron only 90 km from Nice with a daily bus service. Altitude 1600 to 2450 metres. Snow boarding, snow-shoeing and para-skiing. You can also hire snow scooters, book dog sleigh rides or visit the ice skating rink. Isola 2000 is open from mid December to early May and the Altitude 1800 to 2610.

Lovely family holiday apartment

My family of 4 and I have just returned from a week long holiday in the Mimosa apartment.
The apartment and grounds are beautifully kept and contain everything necessary for a family self catering holiday [even including a cool bag for apicnic]. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in away from home. The pool is large and wonderful, our children aged 7 and 11 spent hours perfecting their diving from the diving board. One word of caution would be that there is no real shallow end except for the entry steps,so non swimming children will need arm bands. There was no hassel reserving sun beds as they are for your enjoyment and come with comfortable mattresses and large shading umbrellas. There is also a pergola for outside dining which is great in summer. We used the tennis court every day. The location is also brilliant if you are looking for somewhere quiet, having said that it is also convientent , being 5 mins [drive] from a warm lake that you can swim in, 10 mins from the main A8 autoroute, 5 mins from a major supermarket and 2 mins from a boulangerie. It is probably 40 mins from the coast which for us was a bonus as the coast is over crowded and quite tatty in high season, as well as there being lots of jelly fish in the sea. Much better to be away from it and travel in for an evening to watch the world go by or mooch around looking at the super yatchs in Antibes. In summary then a comfortable apartment with great facilities and a beautiful pool area. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, definately not for party animals but perfect for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of the world, the weather was also perfect, sunny every day. We will return!

Incredible relaxing retreat

We have been so impressed by this wonderful villa / apartment and the warm, welcoming nature of the owner, Adrienne, and her well-mannered, friendly children that we returned again this year! I cannot impress strongly enough how relaxing and beautiful the location of the villa is. The pool is wonderful, and the children played endlessly in it, as well as playing tennis, boules and wandering around the lovely grounds. The standard of accomodation is excellent, spacious, with everything a family would need for a 2 week stay, including air conditioning and a great barbeque. The property and pool are maintained to an excellent standard. There is loads to do in the surrounding area -- Lake St Cassien is perfect for a pedaloe ride, there are many fantastic villages and markets nearby (such as Fayence), 5 minutes drive to a big supermarket, plus it is easy to reach from Nice Airport.
The entire family had a fantastic time here (twice over!) and our two children (4 and 7) would gladly return year after year! High praise indeed!

The appartment was exactelly as described and we had a wonderful 10 days there. It is ideally located for trips to the coast or further inland and Adrienne is a very good host. We will be going back defenitely.
