Villa Yedi Evler sits on the side of the hill, facing south, overlooking Gundogan Bay. Swimming in the azure blue Aegean Sea is from one of Turkey's best Blue Flag beaches, which is less than a ten minute walk downhill. The pool is just a few steps away and there is a tropical garden to lounge in. The shady patio with hanging vines is perfect for barbeques and long lunches. The accommodation is arranged over three floors. The cool tiles and travertine floors, and the double height ceiling in the lounge create a welcome retreat from the midday sun. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven/grill, large refrigerator etc. There is satellite TV, DVD and hifi in the lounge. The seating in the lounge and dining areas have been designed to cater comfortably for six, although there are beds for eight people. The villa is looked after by an on-site caretaker who is there to assist and make your stay as pleasant and relaxed as possible.

Location: Bodrum area in Turkey

Nearest Airport: Bodrum at 35 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 180 Metres
Car: not necessary
Gundogan attracts an international clientèle with both smart and casual restaurants, bars and clubs. Many of the restaurants offer dining under the moonlight on timber jetties that extend out over the water. Eating out is very reasonably priced. Although Gundogan is self sufficient for a relaxing holiday it is only around 20 minutes drive to Bodrum. On route is a water park and a new golf course. From Bodrum it is possible to make a day trip to the Greek island of Kos. Bodrum is excellent for night-life with many restaurants and the Halikarnassos open-air nightclub. Boat trips from Gundogan to remote beaches for swimming, diving and fishing are popular. There are also opportunities for walking and cycling, and exploring the ruins of cities of ancient civilisations, with their temples and amphitheatres. There is a market held in Gundogan every Wednesday and nearby Yalikavak on Thursday. From Bodrum airport to Villa Yedi Evler is about 40 minutes by car or taxi.

We spent Christmas here and can recommend the villa and the location for a superb holiday. The villa is fitted out well and at a good standard. The views from the roof are fantastic too.

Our 1st visit to Turkey three years ago was quite beyond expectation and we have returned each year since to indulge in a touch of luxury!
The accommodation can best be described as quite palatial - on three floors with a 'minstrels gallery' overlooking the large lounge which has an attractive fireplace, floor to ceiling windows and is beautifully furnished. Wide winding stone staircases lead to other rooms, equally elaborately furnished, and the marble bathrooms and showers are a further touch of luxury.
Sight-seeing, boating, sports, wandering through markets, eating out or just lounging on the beach are just a few things to do. Turkey is an interesting country. The people are friendly and welcoming and as a bonus the weather is superb.

This villa is really well located, in the fishing village of Gundogan, close to Bodrum and pretty central to the peninsula.

We stayed here for a beautifully relaxing and easy-going week and would highly recommend this Mediterranean villa to anyone seeking to get away from the humdrum of home!

The house was decorated very tastefully and in an excellent and clean condition, with a caretaker on call 24/7, and the owners were very helpful in giving us hints and tips about where to go and how to get there.

Gundogan has plenty of nice spots to grab a bite to eat, from the Turkish kebab bars to the fish restaurants along the sea front (which are a lot cheaper than in other places around the peninsula) - try Boncuk for a romantic meal over the water.

We'll definately be going back!
