Downstairs, the villa has a large open plan lounge/dining room with French doors leading out to the large private sun terrace and swimming pool in the back garden. The dining table seats 6 & there is also a library of DVDs, CDs & books & also a selection of family games. The separate kitchen has an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, etc - pretty much everything you need for that home from home holiday, but in the sun! The 3 large bedrooms (1 king, 1 double, 1 twin) are light & airy & beautifully furnished On the upper roof terrace is a table football game along with dining table & chairs from which you can take advantage of the stunning views - of the sea, sand dunes & the islands of Lobos & Lanzarote.

• NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
  There is a nightly tariff from £85 for anyone taking advantage of the shorter breaks available following the addition of more flights from low-cost airlines.
  Please enquire about any other special offers which may be available - for example, in quieter periods, we may offer a SPECIAL RATE FOR COUPLES or SMALLER GROUPS or a REDUCED NIGHTLY RATE for short breaks.
  (Please note that the increase in price from July 2008 takes account of the new private pool)
  £150/€200 deposit required upon booking, with the balance due within 6 weeks of your departure date.
  Preferred method of payment is bank transfer. We can accept bank transfers in GBP or Euros.
  A refundable security deposit of £100/€100 is also required upon payment of the balance.

THE GARDEN & SURROUNDING AREA

The villa has a large garden area which captures the sun from early morning to late afternoon. It is gradually being landscaped, including the recent addition of a 5m x 3m private swimming pool, a large tiled terrace area, a pergola for those who prefer a bit of shade, a BBQ area, a pool table/electric air hockey game and plenty of furniture for the all important sunbathing and al fresco dining! There is a driveway for one car at the front of the house and plenty of separate parking spaces on the road just outside. The lovely communal pool area is a couple of minutes walk away and has a large lagoon style pool, a separate shallow children's pool and a Jacuzzi. The development consists of apartments, town houses, semi detached villas and detached villas and it has attractive palm-lined walkways both within and around it. As it backs directly onto the sand dunes, it is possible to walk across them to the gorgeous beaches near the 2 RIU hotels - this takes around 30 minutes.

CORRALEJO

Corralejo, situated in the north, is one of the most popular resorts on the island. It was once a small fishing village & has now grown into a lively colourful town, luckily managing to retain its original charm and atmosphere. There are still white sandy beaches in the town centre where you can 'drop down' and soak up the Canarian sunshine. Most of the shops, bars and restaurants are along the Corralejo main street which leads right down through the music square and on to the harbour which looks across the other side of town and the sand dunes. These dunes (which are a protected nature reserve) lie just beyond the town. The dunes spread for miles along the east coast and this is what makes Corralejo such a popular resort. Corralejo caters for all ages & there's a wide variety of things to do - watersports, tennis, boat trips, ferry trips to Lanzarote, Jeep Safaris, Island tours, Mountain biking, Motorbike tours etc. The Baku Water Park provides hours of fun for the whole family.

THE ISLAND

With 3000 hours of sunshine a year, the weather conditions of Fuerteventura are very similar to Florida and Mexico, but without the humidity, making this the ideal holiday location all year round. There is nowhere else in the Canaries with as many enormous sand dunes and long sandy beaches (more than one hundred and fifty). Even though most of the land consists of stone and rock, these are some of the most impressive beaches in the whole of Europe. Water sports are very popular in Fuerteventura. Every year hundreds of surfers, windsurfers and divers descend on Fuerteventura and during July the island is host to the P.W.A world windsurfing speed and slalom event at Sotavento in the south. There are also many new attractions inviting tourists to discover different aspects of the Island's landscape and culture, such as the Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography and Tefia Craft Village to name but a few. A championship golf course is just over a half hour drive away.
