'Vecchio Frantoio' is a bright and spacious two bedroomed apartment with air conditioning, built where there once stood an old olive mill. Chestnut beams, terracotta tiles and antique stone add to the character of this comfortable and beautiful apartment. The apartment comprises a master bedroom with double bed, and a second bedroom with the option of either two single beds or one double bed. Both bedrooms have their own private bathroom. There is a spacious lounge/dining room with two sofas, one of which opens out to form a double bed. The attractive kitchen is very well equipped. There are attractive gardens, together with pool, as well as a large barbecue area. which are shared with other apartments. The beautiful medieval hilltop town of Cortona is only a five minute drive away, and Lake Trasimeno, with its many beaches, and where Hannibal defeated the Romans, is only a ten minute drive from 'Vecchio Frantoio'. 'Vecchio Frantoio' is only a five minute drive from the medieval hilltop town of Cortona. The main A1 motorway is a fifteen minute drive from the apartment and the mainline train station is only a five minute drive away. Lake Trasimeno is ten minutes from 'Vecchio Frantoio'. Rome and Pisa are two hours away and Florence is only one hour from the apartment. Siena, Orvieto, Arezzo (famous for its monthly antiques market), Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano, Perugia, Orvieto, Gubbio, Deruta, and many many more places of interest are all within easy travel distance. Golf within half an hour from the apartment, as well as numerous sports, all closeby.
