Nearly every kind of watersport is catered for in Morira / Javea, and for those who dont want to get their feet wet there is golf, bowls, tennis, cycling, horse riding and hiking to name but a few. Places to visit. The beautiful city of Valencia with its historic buildings, museums and wonderful shopping centres is only 1 hour away. For the younger members in your party, Benidorms Terra Mitica (40 mins away) theme park is a must, you will also find Acqualandia and Mundomar here. At Gata de Gorgos (8km) you will find what the local craft industries have to offer - palm leaf, rattan and wickerwork articles. The Tourist Office, there are three, one in each area of Javea, will have details of nearby places of interest.
