This recently converted barn offers modern accommodation within a rustic setting. The huge lounge area is luxuriously furnished with leather sofas and also includes a dining area with table to seat 8, TV with Freeview, DVD player, video, high quality Hi Fi system, DVDs and books. The modern open plan kitchen is very well equipped, perfect for self-catering. There are numerous outside dining areas with the front terrace perfect for breakfast looking up at Mount Canigou and the large rear terrace a romantic spot for the evening.

Fillols is a very pretty and unspoiled French Catalonian village in the foothills of Mount Canigou. It has an 'otherworldly' feel while being close to all amenities. 2 bars, 1 with a rustic but excellent restaurant can be found in the village square 3 min. walk away. Shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, swimming pool, equestrian centre and casino are 5 min. drive away in Vernet les Bains. The mayor of Fillols runs a 4x4 excursion business to the peak of Canigou the view from which Rudyard Kipling described as the most beautiful in the world. The larger town of Prades is less than 15 min drive. It has an expansive market on Tuesdays and hosts the world-famous Pablo Casals music festival in July/August which attracts top class international musicians. Excellent shopping in Perpignan (45 min). The seaside resorts just beyond Perpignan feature water parks (Aqualand), excellent adventure parks, go-karting and many other activities.
