Inside : terracotta floors,wooden beams - cosy atmosphere Peaceful rural environment. An excellent relaxing spot for enjoying nature . Wherever you are : in the swimming pool ( 5mx14m) ,in the garden or on the small patio : the breathtaking view will fill your eyes and soul with beauty. Comfortable garden and pool furniture will make your stay in the open air enjoyable at all times . On request Marisa ( the housekeeper) will prepare for you home made Italian food and deliver it at home.

Il Palombaio is situated in a most beautiful natural area , only 10 minutes drive from Todi. The surrounding region is full of Etruscan sites, medieval hill towns with extraordinary landscapes , palazzos , piazzas and frescos. History and culture is all around for you to chose: Orvieto, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Spello . All within a short drive- but you may just wish to travel in the countryside and stop at small villages : you will find yourself living in a wonderful untouched medieval world. Open air fairs and markets, Umbria jazz and Spoleto festivals, as well as excellent cuisine adds to the pleasures of your vacation.

The bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to the garden . as well as those of the upper floor - thus allowing certain privacy and independence . The house is ideal for family groups or party of friends .

This is a lovely house and a lovely area- It has been used by the owners ( and is still being used ) for vacation and weekends. It is thus well equipped and contains all essential utilities needed for a relaxing stay: it is a large house , but very easy to manage .You have a large choice in the area for cultural , sports activities. A detailed written house guide is available, which covers also information on shopping, supermarkets open on Sundays, wine tasting, open air events , and of course, excellent local restaurants. If you feel like, day trips to Rome or Florence are feasible by car or train.
