A stylish and contemporary first floor apartment set above the cliff top and adjacent to Thurlestone Sands beach. Set in stunning grounds with a heated outdoor pool (Spring Bank Holiday until Mid-September). The spacious open-plan living room has a double height vaulted ceiling and curtained glass windows with views over the South Huish Nature Reserve and surrounding farmland. Furnished in a comfortable yet contemporary style throughout with plasma-screen tv, video/dvd player, dvd library, Playstation and Bose® I-pod docking-station. The living room and main bedroom open onto a balcony furnished with brightly coloured 'director style' chairs and cafe table. The designer kitchen is well equipped. There are two stunning bedrooms both with luxury hotel-quality beds. The main bedroom has a superking-size double bed measuring 180x200cm (6' x 6'6') and the second bedroom has two single luxury zip-and-link 90 cm (3') beds. All bed linen and towels are, 'The White Company'.

Thurlestone is situated in a stunning coastal location near Salcombe, South Devon. Thurlestone, named after the large sea rock with a hole through the centre famously painted by the artist, Turner, is the perfect choice for a seaside holiday. Thurlestone Sands, with its wide sandy beach is one of several locally owned by the National Trust and attracts both families and water sports enthusiasts. The wide sandy beach is backed by a nature reserve where rare and exciting birds have been spotted. Those preferring exercise to sunbathing can take off along the South Devon Coastal Path for wonderful walks with spectacular views. Picturesque and historic Thurlestone village, slightly inland, with its 13th Century church and pretty thatched cottages also offers a pub, a hotel and post office/village stores. VISIT

Beaches & Walks: Ten Oceans Edge is ideally situated for walks along the cliff-top towards Salcombe or Bigbury, the South Devon Coastal Path runs directly in front of the property. There are sandy beaches suitable for swimming just a few metres from away so it is easy to leave the car behind and explore the area using footpaths and beaches. Lots of information about the South Hams is provided.

Sailing & Golf: The Salcombe estuary can be reached in about 10 minutes. The estuary has good sailing at high tide up to Kingsbridge or via the creeks to South Pool or Frogmore. Golf is available at Thurlestone (walking distance) Dartmouth and Bigbury, all are 18-hole courses .

Thank you for making your lovely apartment available to us last week. What a super place to stay! We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay - just what we needed. The weather was "changeable" but we made the most of the sunshine and wrapped up warm against the biting winds! It was great to be so close to a beach for walks, to photograph the sunset and to follow the coastal path.

An excellent holiday. Thanks.

Ideal location right on the clifftop, beach only 2 mins walk away. Around 10 mins drive into Salcombe itself.

Very high quality apartment, luxury furnishings etc, all immaculate!
Plenty of space, well laid out, luxury bathrooms and plenty of hot water. Not to mention the WiFi which worked instantly (unlike in some properties), 3 TVs, DvD collection , and loads of helpful local information.

Very helpful owner - can't recommend highly enough!
