As someone who has travelled extensively, I was looking for somewhere luxurious and picturesque to take friends for my 40th Birthday Celebrations. Villa Scorpio exceeded any preconceptions I may have had from the photographs. It is a unique, secluded, beautiful home, built with great attention to detail. A private drive, stunning pool area, floor to ceiling windows and luxurious furnishings and fittings.
The layout of the villa made it easy to gather together as a group, or find some privacy too. The tastefully decorated bedrooms were spacious and well equipped. Everyone had their own bathroom facilities, some even a kitchenette. Two of the bedrooms opened onto the pool.The Master bedroom had its own jacuzzi bath and roof terrace, and with the patio doors open, you could lay in bed and listen to the sea! The kitchen was equipped with quality appliances, and fully stocked with all the food you could need. The pool was lit at night, which made it great to entertain outside. The views were stunning, truly a place to relax and recharge. I definately intend to return in the summer months and would find it very easy not to leave the villa!
Although secluded, it was convenient and easy to reach local sights, drive to the centre of Athens or to the Metro Station. It was a great location to escape back to after a hectic day of sightseeing.
Nikos and Dina, the owners, treated us like family. They met and guided us from the airport, provided us with travel and tourist advice and were at the end of the phone if we needed anything. They cooked us a delicious Greek dinner one night, and really could not have done more to make us feel welcome. They truly made our trip memorable.
I would highly recommend visiting this stunning rental location, you will not be dissappointed.
