Located in one of the most beautiful Tuscan landscapes, our cottage is an enchantingly renovated old country house set on the hillside near the little town of Palaia (Pisa) and surrounded by a marvelous natural fresco where flowers, olives and vineyards are some of the main subjects. The accommodation is completely furnished in a rustic way with traditional floors and nice wooden beam-ceilings and is equipped with all the modern facilities to make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. Every little detail has been chosen with much care and interest. Guests may reach every interesting historical city (Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena) or important seaside resorts in 1 h/1h and a half, moreover the location is well related with the most famous “wine itinerary”. The estate, completely isolated from noise and pollution of towns, is ideal for those who look for relax and privacy. There is nothing more to say; now it is time to see our vacation home with your own eyes!

Palaia is a very small village, which has a gorgeous country around. It is defenetly a good base to visit the beauties of Tuscany, living at the same time to relax of an uncontaminated environment. Only 15 mins by car and you are in Pontedera, small city but with lots of nice bars, pubs and restaurant as well as a lot of activities such as tennis, swimming pools, football and so on. If you want to visit the 'Dome', the 'Uffizi' or 'Ponte Vecchio' in Florence (the cradle of Renaissance) you can go either by car (1h20) or by train from Pontedera (50mins). One day you could go to Pisa and lay in the sun on the grass of 'Piazza dei Miracoli' with the famous 'Leaning Tower' in front of you (50 mins by car or 15 mins with the train from Pontedera). You cannot miss Siena with his marvellous 'Piazza del Campo' which in August changes in a Horse race for the 'Palio'. We will be very happy to give information’s about place where to go, good restaurants and nice venues!

MEANS OF ACCESS: -From PISA: take the FI-PI-LI (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) highway towards FLORENCE, exit PONTEDERA (not PONTEDERA-PONSACCO but the next one), then follow the directions to PALAIA, when you have passed VILLA SALETTA, begin to slow down, after some bends you will find a big white road sign of PARTINO. Take the road that goes to the right immediatly after the PARTINO road sign, drive along this road (that soon becomes a dirt road) keeping left until you find a tarmac road, go downhill and you have arrived. -From FLORENCE: take the FI-PI-LI (Fireze-Pisa-Livorno) highway towards PISA, exit PONTEDERA, then follow the directions to PALAIA, when you have passed VILLA SALETTA, begin to slow down, after some bends you will find a big white road sign of PARTINO. Marvellous stay in Tuscuny

The description regarding the location, layout, facilities and so on was accurate. The property was very clean, the garden all around very well maintened. The sight from the terrasse is unbelievable! We found everything we needed within the house. I certainely would recommend this location to a friend. There are many activities available from the house: for example we went to Florence by train from Pontedera thanks to the advice of the owner, The owner welcame us very friendly and gave us many good advices to enjoy our stay the most possible.

Wonderfull holiday in tuscanys perl

We arrived by car in the afternoon and because it was a little bit difficult to find the house, we called the owner by phone. In five minuts he met us at the village entrance and
took us on a small road 1KM to the house. It is on a winehill and has no neighbours nearer than a half KM. There was nothing to hear, only the birds and the wind. When we arrived, there was a welcome-surprise on the kitchen table. All things you need at the first day were in this present.The house was very clean at has a modern and antique furniture and many interressing things from the tuscany countrylive. All things are running. Next supermarket in a village about 12 minuts bei car. Also some shops to buy fish, bread and clothes and a petrol station. Very interessting are trips to Pisa, Lucca and Volterra. Firenze very loud and full of cars motorbiks- difficult to drive.We find a nice beach nothern Livorno, near Lido for less on hot days up to 36 °. We used the recommendation of the owner for restaurents in the near surrounding: delicious and cheap tuscany specials.
Very suitable to rest in a loveley countryside and as a start
for trips to the old tuscany citys. You urgently need a car or motorbike. We would like to come back in one of the
next years.

Casa Fabia

We had a wonderful time at Casa Fabia (four adults and a three year old). Great for cooking, eating, reading and walking. Very homely, lovely old kitchen, very very quiet. Don't expect nightlife unless you drive to it! At the end of a track that goes nowhere else, just turns into footpaths into the valley below. We only saw the occasional hunter there. Surrounded by vineyards. Good shower too. Owners went out of their way to help. I feel relaxed just thinking about it.

An excellent place to stay if you want to see Tuscany f.ex.by car. An easy reach to the main attractions.A very nice house decorated in a beautiful way.If you need a place to relax and enjoy the nature of Tuscany with all the birds singing and you like wineyards and small villages then it's a perfect place to stay.
