Immaculate 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom farmhouse with private pool, ADSL & Aircon
Bobie is a comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroomed converted self catering farmhouse with air con, WiFi ADSL internet access with French and UK 'free to view' TV, DVD and CD player. Situated just over 1km from the market town of Duras with it's imposing Chateau, bars and restaurants - it's a wonderful place to spend a week or two... The large private pool is alarmed and situated to the rear of the property overlooking the extensive gardens - perfect for outside dining. There is a table tennis table in a large utility room at the side of the house. It is perfectly equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, gas hob / electric oven & microwave etc. All beds have Latex mattresses with pressed pure cotton bed linen, percale for children.

Bobie is situated just over 1km away from the pretty village of Duras in the Lot et Garonne - the heart of France's wine and gastronomic region. Bobie offers a perfect setting for relaxing, yet has easy access to the weekly market, numerous restaurants, shops and various sporting activities. It is an ideal base for wine tasting in places such as St. Emilion and visiting historic towns such as Eymet, Monsegur, and Bergerac. There are daily markets in this area all year round. Duras has a fascinating chateau and is well worth a visit. The picturesque village comes alive in the summer, with weekly events such as the wine festival, antiques fairs, night markets and open air music. The wine festival is a must, if only to see the Montgolfier balloons which almost touch the rooftops of the village houses!

| Notes: | Outside the house you have a secluded terrace with BBQ, dining table, parasol and chairs, sunbeds and a paved pool area overlooking the fields and trees beyond. Perfect for enjoying a chilled glass of wine. The 11 x 5m pool is graduated (shallow and deep end) with entry via Roman Steps. The pool is alarmed. There is a small pond at the back of the garden - which although normally dry during the summer months may be a source of interest for young children. This can be fenced off upon request. Whilst the owners live at the other side of the house, they will respect your privacy at all times, have their own drive and entrance and do not use the pool whilst you are in occupancy. The owners (English, French & Polish speaking) offer you their wonderful home grown produce from their vegetable garden (at no charge!). Additional occupancy to 10 people charged at an additional £50 per person per week. All pure cotton linen & towels (not pool towels) are included |

I would recommend this property to anyone liking 'perfection'. The area is just lovely - we keep going back, the location ideally close to the lovely town of Duras. A quick stroll up to a lovely restaurant Le Cabri - good food, good atmosphere, great hosts. 30 minutes to Bergerac airport, well placed for visiting coast, historical bastide towns etc. Previously we've been canoeing on various rivers, lots of lovely walks. The owner was there if you needed her and otherwise respected your privacy whilst ensuring that you'd everything you needed during your stay. Personally, we'd like it to be a 'well kept secret'!
