This lovely apartment just off Campo Santo Stefano and Palazzo Grassi is a top floor 'mansarda' with beamed ceilings. This apartment is composed of a large spacious living room high ceilings and with a small 'altana' (a roof terrace), a fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed (this is under the beams so not very high) and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

I thought the flat was better than it's review. The location was perfect for a first trip to Venice - close to all the main attractions and close to San Samuele vaporetto stop. We arrived very late , just before mid-night, but were met at the flat and all the facilities explained. Excellent customer service - thank you Annalisa! The flat had everything we needed, except a working coffee pot or cafetiere and wine glasses. The air con was very good as was the electric fan.
There are 2 steep, narrow flights of stairs to the front door, then 2 shorter flights to the living area - well worth it for the outdoor space - but not for people who have difficulty with stairs. The best supermarket we found was Billa in Dorsoduro (take a shopping trolley) and there is very good draught wine (sold in recycled plastic water bottles) in a wine shop on the way to St. Marc's square.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

The apartment is clean with good facilities,towels,linen,dishwasher,washing machine,sky,wifi all of which are explained on your arrival.

The little terrace is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a days sightseeing.

San Samuele vaporetto stop is only a couple of minutes walk away but it is easy to walk to all the main areas ( though i would suggest investing in a detailed map of venice streets!). There are a couple of nice eating places just around the corner from the apartment.

We were glad we opted for this apartment instead of a hotel and have recommended it to our friends.

We were very happy one week in september 08 in this cosy appartment. Clean, bright, confortable and well equiped. Central situated, we were happy to have this oasis between two endless trips in the labyrinth. The great hit is the little terrace,enjoiying a glass of (italian) wine at the beautiful sunset... The bedroom is not very high and the bed is 160 cm large - for us, an elder couple, not confortable, so one of us had to sleep on the (large) sofa, but it was OK.
