Our villa is located in garden hill, Los Altos, a quiet residential area with a gated entrance. Within a 3 - 5 minute walk are 2 large supermarkets and within a 10 minute walk are several restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The nearest beach is at punta prima, which is approximately a 20 minute walk, or 4 - 5 minutes in a car. Local activities include, golf, diving, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, horse riding. Nearby towns of interest include Elche - famous for palm trees and leather goods and also Alicante with its upmarket marina and shops, not forgetting guardamar with its beautiful 17km sandy beach.

Torrevieja is only a short drive away, where you can enjoy shopping, a large street market, evening street stalls, fun fair in season, marina and yacht club. There are also hundreds of cafes, bars and restaurants. There are clubs and disco's including pacha and el divino. There is a fun fair and aqua park (open summer times) and go-karting (children and adults). There is a large shopping complex (habernas) with plenty of shops including c & a's and h & m. Also churches and museums abound.
GUARDAMAR
17 kms of sandy beach, with plenty of shopping and beachfront cafes, bars and restaurants. Natural parks.
ELCHE
A lovely place for a day out - famous for palm trees and leather goods.
